VPN = virtual private network; a way of accessing your work system from another location via the internet. So for us late bloomers, when and where are we meeting tomorrow? I have been drowning my sorrows in a bottle or six since I won't have my car.

There will be 11 cars that plan on meeting in chicago. That would make about 20 cars through chicago traffic. We did it at the first NG with 17 cars and ended up in two groups.
Christine, which route did you plan on taking?
Oh, and how's the leg?

Here's what I got from the Chicago thread on 3Si today: Quote: sluggo When you are on I-94 (The Edens expressway) heading East (it's really south, but they call it east, one of life's things) get off at Old Orchard Road exit (it's the one after Lake avenue). At the end of the off ramp, make a left turn onto Old Orchard Road, go over the bridge, and you should see the mall entrance on your right immediately AFTER the BP Amoco gas station (it is next door to the Shell station). Drive about a block in the mall area. The parking garage will be to your left. You should see the group on the right. If you leave from south side of Milwaukee at that time of day, and you don't stop at Sanjay's Swinging Crib (over 2 served) , it should take you 70 minutes. Please call earlier posted number if you won't make it, so we don't wait and get chased and beaten by Mall cops and their Aveos. BTW, that Shell has a good old fashioned free air hose, while the BP Amoco charges cold hard cash. If we are not there, avenge our death!

I *almost* made it home without getting pulled over.
The Power Cav is too much to be allowed on the streets! I got pulled over for 62 in a 45 in waukesha, about 20 mins from my house.

Gayness Eric
I'm home safe and sound, and Bryan is roaming the streets looking for something to drag through the garden.

Glad you guys are all back and safe. That drive last night just plain sucked. Hopefully it was better today. Can't wait for work tomorrow... I feel like I've been dragged through the garden. Best, SJ

You know I want that footage, Eric. Also, I'll send mine once I get them from Josh Anker's laptop. My camera case(which had the card with all the pics in it) and radar detecter decided to take a walk sometime on fri night. Which isnt bad, except it must have been so long(of a walk) that it never returned...
