Major races in my neighborhood would be my dads truck, or my uncles Lightning, which I have ridden in, and sorry to say, I am not scared. Craig doesn't even own a mildly quick car. other than the lightning the only other cars around that give me shit are Matt's 68 camaro, which you saw... (yawn), and another one of my uncles with an early 90's vette that couldn't pull a wet noodle out of a sick chicken's ass. It just feels nice to stop by all these people who were giving me crap and ask then "What do you have to say now?" and then watch them back down. I also refuse to be scared of a slush-bucket supra. Unless it's packing a GM three speed and a turbo that can suck in small children. Then I will be humble. By the way, Brett you said he drifts the car? how does this work with an auto Like I said the black MK didn't want to play. oh, well. no skin lost. I think before I start any major races I will get the e-manage and the injectors in. My brother in law want's me to race some kid with a supercharger in a infiniti Q35. that's what I will need the E-manage and injectors for. I need to have the boost leak figured out before then. and new spark plugs and a good tune. maybe race gas if I want to really flog her hard.

I didnt say anything about him drifting, it was probably one of my friends. I'm assuming they just mean he kicks the ass out at every turn. You will destroy that car Adam, no worries.

So I remounted my boost controller last night, and right in the middle of it I get a call from Alamo Motorsports. Melinda from Alamo Motorsports to be exact. She was checking on my order, and also wanted to know my level of Satisfaction with Alamo Motorsports as a whole. We talked for quite a while, about 20 minutes about stuff in general, and I told her that I was really interested in there sidemount intercoolers, but that they were cost prohibative. she then said, well, when you have the money give us a call, maybe we can work something out. I was pretty blown away by this. It's pretty cool that an internet car parts company will deal on stuff like this instead of completely relying on the mouse click method. I have another large deal going on right now, so I can't spend any more large amounts of capitol on my car for a while, but I will be trying to give them a call later when I have a better Idea of my situation.
Anyways the reason for this post is she also gave me an offer on some Magnacore wires. (red of course) I didn't jump on it because on US3S there is a guy who claimed to have problems running these wires and getting spark blowout. Experience at US3S is limited to a few people, and this guy is one of the people who really seems to know his shit. I mean he is running a AEM EMS, so there has to be some knowledge base there. So I figured before I walked away from the deal that Alamo offered me I would drop the question here and see if anyone had a problem with them. Any input would be greatly appreciated, as this offer is a limited time thing.
Thanks!

I had to do some modifications to the brackets and the undercar plastic so they would fit without contacting the bumper. So far I've been really happy with them. They are huge compared to stock! They stay pretty cool to the touch even after a series of hard runs. Brad

Recieved my pressure sensor and injector harness for the E-manage. I'm hoping to get out to the garage tonight to wire it. I've got a wiring diagram all made out for my hybrid. we'll see if it works. If it does I'll see about posting it. Is anyone else running both the injector and ignition harnesses? (Roy?) I believe that you cut the ignition wires and run them through the e-manage, but the injector harness I am confused on. Do you cut them and also run them to the e-manage or do you just strip the wire and run the e-manage wire "piggyback" I guess I'll figure her out tonight.

For the Injector harness you just tap into the stock wires, since the e-manage can only increase pulsewidth and not decrease it.
Id stop by and show you mine but unfortunately I pulled out the transmission again today.

No worries mate. I figured that was the way it went, because of what you said about only lengthening pulse width. I think I've got it now. I was going to wire it last night, but got dragged out by my friend who is getting married, and once that happens you never see them anymore.
What are you doing with your transmission out?
BTW. Greg. I have yet to see the drivers side fan run. the passenger side kicks on and off. the drivers side, no. Is that normal, or did we leave something unplugged.

What happens when you turn your AC on? I'm pretty sure I plugged both the plugs on that side back in.

I did check the two plugs. they are plugged in. I haven't had my A/C on yet because Wisconsin winters never really die. They just take the weekend off.

Roy likes to give his tranmission a friendly hello at least once a week, I think he's down to pulling it or installing it in 60 mins or so, lol.

I started to have issues with the clutch disengaging again. So I decided to investigate that, and I also finally replaced my 2nd gear synchro. I finally got to drive it with no grinding. But I pulled the tranny again yesterday morning. I still have a little issue to fix with the bellhousing, then it may be running this weekend. I really hate aluminum. Good thing my friend has a TIG welder.
