I think that we can get the old ones out. I'll work on that this week. either that or I'll get some like jeff said. nose feels MUCH better today. swelling has gone down to semi-normal size. nose never really hurt that much. my finger is still slightly bleeding. and hurts. stupid busted knuckles. One of my rules when heading to the bars is no cameras. This never seemed like a good idea to me. I usually end up being in most of the pics... anti-seize do much good? I'd think with the heat cycles that those nuts see they are just going to be a cock-sucker to get off no matter what. we'll try it though, what is there to lose? how about the ability to host pics here? I mean I'd do that, but I can't I use us3s cause everybody's pretty low key there. If I posted them on 3si I'd have to have my flame suit on for the color of the nylon ties we used, let alone the picture of the blood splattered shirt. 3si wrote: OMFG ~ white out and nylon ties. NEWB!!!! and obviously you don't know the first thing about a 3/S engine, you forgot to put the fifth cam gear back on... and by the way, do a search next time! vetting, you've got mail

Also, strangley enough, we only had to move the AC line to get at the throttle cable and crusise control box to disconnect it. after that it was never in our way again... I'll look into the stud thing. It's not that big of a deal, I have the majority of the week to figure something out. ...damn I'm ugly in close up...

Cool beans brett. I'll let Matt know that were coming over to his house to fab up some T-88H manifolds. Your gonna have the turbo for the weekend too, right? pressure tester/ compression tester are sitting on my red-neck garage couch. Of course, my stall is kinda full, and having two 3/S in the garage with the engines pulled apart would make it look to much like a garage for some of my family. Are you going to have it for the weekend for sure? Depending on if we get my car done on Friday or Saturday we could give yours the once over after that. I have to wait until at least friday for more gaskets, cause I'm a dumbass. If its cold out and the garage doors are closed walk around to the side. the door will be open. my big block buddies stopped by and laughed at me, then drank all my beer last weekend... The funny thing is none of them have fast cars Greg looked at me after they left and said "those are your friends?" Brett, I would highly advise stopping by. Any "tech sessions" with these cars are valuable. I have learned way more this past weekend then I thought possible. Especially if you plan on going with a T-88H.

I love how you just started this T88 project for me lol.
I think either way I'll stop by, but the car is supposed to be "in green bay" by Wednesday... so hopefully...

Didn't see bretts car last night, but I was pretty bummed out from work. One of my projects is going south because my boss wanted to save a a few bucks... If we can't rectify the situation it may cost 50,000 or more. all for two grand back in feburary. I will never understand why people trip over dollars to pick up nickels. Not to mention the added stress that I see every day from an owner calling me up to complain and threaten when it's completely out of my hands. But I suppose there are only two places on the ladder where you have no stress. the bottom and the top. I think I'm gonna apply for a job at mc donalds. My father was picking on my car last night, and how slow it is, never going back together, blah blah blah. He wanted to race his pick up truck. Like I said before the people who have nothing to race are the loudest people around calling my car rice, and slow. I never take that to well. So about fifteen minutes later I had him in a head lock on the garage floor. I made my point, but I think I messed up my knee. D'oh. Oh, and Jeff. the studs are not coming out, you were right. PB blaster, mouse milk, heat with a torch. heat more with a torch. no dukes. they both turn like they will come out, spin out about three threads and get completely stuck again. very lame, but I had to try. I'm just like that. time to get new studs. I only need one more, as I got the other one back from craig. Were there any more in that box...?

The 3 studs that Jesse gave you were for the O2 housing (yes, that's what it's called). The ones for the manifold are a little smaller. Your dad can point to anything in that garage floor, and I'll know exactly where it goes. If anyone wants to give us hell about our cars being slow, I'll give them a ride in my car.

I answered his question as to where all the stuff goes. even the ones he didn't ask for. We don't have that much stuff left on the floor, and what is there is big and fairly obvious. I'm sure a ride would be right up his alley. I'll tell him you offered. roger, but jesse gave me one smaller stud, also. I thought... that's what I have to check. we only need two of them, the other four are bolts, which I'm sure you knew. We have the one craig took out with his finger, so that leaves one stud to be found. Although my math is a little shaky some times.

The bolt goes in the hole that we can get access to from the top. Never noticed the extra stud. So yeh, that just leaves 1 we need to get from the hardware store.
You always seem to be shaking. Are you on something or are you just one of those wierdos who always seem to be cold no matter what the temperature?

That would come from smoking crack 24/7. I think that I have always been fairly high strung/excitable. That energy/stress level translates into the shakes. If you ever see really old people that shake(I had the chance to meet Bud Anderson, world war II pilot, he had it BAD), they have a name for the desease, but I've never asked a doctor about it(doctors are all quacks anyway), so I'm not sure if it's bad or not. I don't think that I'm cold all the time, but I would love to live in southern florida. Maybe that's where I'll look for my next job... Or maybe I just need to get laid?
