Well when my car is cold the oil pressure is fine. When it warms up the oil pressure drops way off. The needle is well below the minimum line. Could these be symptoms of a spun bearing? Also now if I give the car gas, at higher rpms, the car seems to wine. It never has done that before. What should I do??

First things first. The stock gauge is inaccurate. You need to hook up a mechanical gauge and see if you really do have low oil pressure.

The engine has 76,000 on it. I have not really driven the car at all this summer. But the problem just started to happen. The oil pressure used to be a little low but I thought this was normal. But now the oil pressure drops way off once the car is warm. I am going to check it with a mechanical gauge tomorrow. Also how hard is it to drop the oil pan to check the main bearings? I am also thinking that I might just have a bad oil filter. But I will have more info tomorrow hopefully.

Yea I am going to change the filter and oil tonight. Hopefully it was just a bad filter. If that's not the problem then I am going to prob drop the oil pan and check stuff out. I work for my uncle who is a mechanic and I checked his computer and there is a tsb (technical service bulletin) for low oil pressure on our cars. And yes I do have a twin turbo. I didn't have time to check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge but will maybe get to that tomorrow if I have time. Anyways thanks for the help and I will post more tomorrow.
EDIT: The tsb said that oil pressure at idle should be 11 psi. That is a large drop from what it really should be.

Well I changed the oil and filter and I don't think that was the problem. It seemed like I had an oil leak somewhere around the starter. Could this be a blown head gasket?

Now that you ask if the car is running hotter, I think it is runing hotter. When I changed the oil last night I had just got home from my uncle's who lives a half an hour away. But I thought everything was a lot hotter than when I first got the car.

A blown rear main seal can develop from a bad PCV valve. The oil cap will leak too.
I had to replace my clutch when it happened to my car at ~80k miles.
If the bearings are going out of tolerance I would replace them and the pump before they fail and it trashes the block.

So today I got around to checking the oil pressure with my uncle. When we started the car, it was cold and the oil pressure at idle was 55psi. Once the oil warmed it was at 20 psi. It stayed at 20 psi so I think I just have a bad sending unit. So he called on a price and the sending unit is 35. So I am going to be getting that on wednsday and see if that fixes the problem. While under there we spotted that the rack and pinion has a small leak. Also found a crack in the cv boot which will likely turn into a rip. There is a small oil leak but I don't think it is going to be much of a concern at this point. Also found a small leak in the flex section of the downpipe. Well I guess I have enough work to keep me busy over winter.

Well we checked the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge. I guess I should ask what the low tick mark should be as far a psi wise. I mean when the car idles the gauge goes about 3 tickes below the low point. And the mechanical gauge says that it is 20 psi.
