ok does anyone know somewhere that can help me get my timing belt replaced without charging me $1000000000 for it? The last place i checked wanted $674 because "they almost have to take the engine apart to get to the belt" is that bullshit or am i just gullible?

We have several members that can help around town. G-Ell has been known to do a few 60k jobs... Another option and the best one (in my opinion) is to contact Jeff at Milwaukee Mopar. He charges $40 an hour and can perform the work faster than anyone you'll ever find. The $40 an hour buys you the experience and confidence things are not going to be fucked up. Ask anyone on the board about him, you won't hear a single complaint. Check out www.milwaukeemopar.com for his phone #. Jesse

It is a lot work, not hard but takes time. You do have to basically disassemble the drivers side of the engine bay.

Never done one on a SOHC before. Doesn't look to be that much different (looking at the manual) than the DOHC, just things are in a different spot.
