Oh, no big deal, parts can be fixed and no one was hurt. Pretty minor in the grand scheme of things. Look at it this way, your car didn't catch on fire five minutes after arriving. Doh!!!

The damage really is minor. Heck, R/T Bomber didn't even notice there was any damage to the car... I suppose, it could be a lot worse. At least it's not as embarassing as driving around with a red bumper or something... (j/k) My only concern with the repaint is, the car has been repainted once before. I really like this color green and would like to match it as close a possible, but I donno if this is the factory green or not. So who knows what color this is exactly... They didn't use a lot of pearl in this repaint either. That won't happen this time.

Hey everyone,
Thanks for comming out to the UMG this year. We had about 45 cars this year. Thats an awesome turnout considering the weather. I'm still working on getting my pics online. I've spent the last hour looking at everyone elses.
Once I catch up on things we'll have more of a complete wrap-up with the prize winners and total stats.
later, Curt

This weekend was great. It was nice seeing everyone again. I can't wait until the next gathering and go drivefast.

I've seen a couple of green 95s before and your color looks right on. It probably won't make you feel better, but at least your Stealth doesn't look like this after the Rural Cruise: http://www.mn3s.org/crash2.jpgTHATS embarssing. later, Curt

I have to say by far this year was the best to date. I only came on Saturday but it was goosepimple moment when we all parked at the car show and everyone knew we had arrived! It was even more intense when we parked for lunch! I know that if Gene Helms would have been able to have come it would have been over the top! Up date on Gene: Not doing any better, still has lots of fluid in his lungs and is on a ventilator. He will likely get a trach this next week. The poor guy has lost lots of weight and really seems to be touch and go at times. Bev is beside hreself right now. Please , take a moment and think of them. Say a prayer for Gene's full recovery. I really missed not having him there this year..... Thanks again to Curt and Jessy Tim Hert

Quote: Were the Mitsus of that year a different color? Noticed mine is a lot darker than the green VR4 that was at the gathering. must be talking about my car... and yes, i know the paint sucks. it's only got 60k on it, but it looks like some parts have been repainted (including the hood), so next spring, or this fall (whenever i have the money), i am getting it repainted. Actually, Mike Gardner from the Chicago area (the guy who works for Dupont with the chromeillusion Stealth) got me a really sweet mixture of factory green mitsu paint tweaked with a little gold metalic that i'm going to use. it'll look slightly different than stock, but not enough to have to repaint all the jams and engine bay. i'll make sure to take a bunch of pics of before and after. actually, here's a before:

If possible, I think it is a good idea to send a e-mail to the sponsors to thank them for the generosity.
