I had the same type of experience a couple weeks ago. The bolt that holds my rear IC pipe in fell out somehow so I drove the car over to the hardware store to get a replacement. I wasn't sure what size I needed so I grabbed two bolts and went out to install it in the store parking lot. I pulled the rear pipe out of the turbo just to test fit the bolt. I had the other bolt on a rag on top of my plenum.
Wind blew, bolt fell....FUCK.
I thought it went into the turbo but I wasn't sure so I looked around the back of the engine for a while and didn't see anything. Went back into the store and grabbed a magnet on a flex, shoved it down into the turbo and didn't come up with anything. Went back in, got a stronger magnet on a flex, shoved it down there a few times, came up with nothing. At this point, I'm thinking it just fell somewhere else behind the engine and was about ready to just start it up after spending an hour in the parking lot. Something made me give it one more go, and I shoved it down into the turbo harder than I had been before, it went down a little further, and
HOLY SHIT, comes out with the bolt.
I just about had a heart attack thinking about what would have happened if I started the car. Said a little prayer thanking God for saving me 2000 dollars, and cruised on home minus a boost leak.

Haha, awesome.
By the way Justin, make sure you bring that money to the next UMG, haha. I'm right on schedule to have the TT conversion fully finished by then.

Brandon! I want "IN" on this bet! lol. What are we betting on actually? If his car doesn't make it then what? EPIC failure?
