Anybody race here? It is about 10 miles east of Appleton.

Ever since I can remember they have held High School Drags on Friday nights. You DO NOT need to be in high school to run in these. IIRC it costs $25 to race and $12 to spectate. They do have a few rules.. ex: helmet & pants. They used to require 1" lug nuts but that is no longer listed on the website.

They also run the Real Street Drags which seems to have replaced a few of the HSD dates. They also run on Friday and from what I've read, it is more of a Pinks style event. You can choose what kind of tree you would like to run and if one car needs lengths. They also have a forum where you can setup/call out races before they happen. I assume they follow similar rules as the HSD's.

I use to go to these all the time 7-8 years ago to spectate. They always had a decent turnout for a full night of racing. The "Beat the Heat" event was always a crowd favorite. (basically you race cop cars...well pro-street cop cars Smile ) I plan to make it to a few of these this year. Hope to see some of you there!

Yeah, I've been there twice last year. The second time sucked. Everyone and I mean everyone was complaining how the strip sucked. You'll be slipping through 1/4 of the 1/4 mile. lol. I was clocking at high 15's and low 16's. Pissed me off so bad.

Two weeks later went down by Great lakes, south of Milwaukee. That is way much better. I was able to hit my mid 14's there all day. Hoping to see the low 14's this year. And Low 13's next year. with my "planned" setup for an N/A.

Yep I'm there every RSD. I hear alot of people bitch about the track not hooking yet for some reason I'm still pushing cars off the line. Rolling Eyes

Now I'm not saying it hooks all the time, but it's not always as bad as peolpe say. Its also close. GLD is the same unless you go for RSD.

Nothing special. You need a helmet. No leaking fluids. Battery tied down. Those are the major ones I can think of.

I think all the rules are pretty basic around all strips. Nothing loose in the car or nothing that will be swinging/moving around. Nothing hanging from under the car etc... Just the basics as far as I know for rules.

As for what you need. Is a helmet. Seat belts. That's all I can think of.
