Next couple days will be no sleeping I'm getting my damn car working for this cruise!! Now I just hope nothings wrong with this motor..

I'm not certain my car makes enough HP to move with that in the back. I only have one turbo now. SJ wrote: Linus, you now have competition -- we have another Adam!

TT4ME wrote: I'm in at least for the cruise. How late does the cruise normally run? It depends on traffic, how long we graze at DQ, and screw around taking pictures in the K-Mart lot. Last year, I think it took us right around a couple hours to work our way up to DQ, we were there for a little over an hour, and back to Uncle Benny's around 5p or so. Hope this helps. If anyone is driving down through Oshkosh and wants to follow me down I'll be leaving around 10:00. We could meet up at Hwy 41 and Hwy 26.

I have the worst luck. my car is acting kinda funny or im just paranoid. I swear I saw greyish black smoke come out the exhaust yesterday at startup....havent seen it since kinda smelled it too..... and my clutch feels kinda mushy like its not grabbing normal. like I gotta let up on the clutch more than usual to shift.
None the less I will still be there tomorrow. hopefully I wont need a tow! lol.

Scattered showers still in forecast -- do your sun dance. Remember -- we begin gathering right as you pull in the Pick N Save lot at Noon, and depart at 1p SHARP. Looking forward! SJ

Wanted to stay longer and have a few... I had some fun on the shortened cruise. If we could avoid following minivans next year, who knows?? And I left at the wrong time; damn brewers traffic jam! Also, it seems that I developed an electrical issue somewhere along the cruise. No dash lights or running lights. Replaced 15A fuse with 30A, problem solved......for now. Here are some crappy pics: http://s210.photobucket.com/albums/bb61/dodgedak98/W3SIruralcruise/Do whatever you want with them

Thanks to everyone who came. I am so disappointed we were not able to run the whole route -- the best part, in fact. Despite that, I'd say we still had a good run, but wow, a nice day late in September sure brought out traffic like we've never seen before. I hope you all had a good time and it was great seeing everyone -- including the unexpected Steven Boldt. My night ended at 1a after the homecoming blitz and four hours at the hospital with the mother in law and Cardiologist, so I know you're all jealous. Big thanks to: * Aaron for coordinating all those giveaways * 3SX Performance for their four discount coupons * Our host, Uncle Benny * Scott Schultz for getting us the red decals, and Johnny H for retrieving them before the event * And you for coming out We had great weather, if only WIDOT had cooperated. Oh well, here's to next year. Best, SJ
