Yes, my car hasn't been running for over a year. It's sad I know. Well for some reason every spring/summer/fall we must battle with bees. We seriously have to spray off bee hives every month. Well they've decided to make a home in my back bumper. We've seen like 5 at a time go in and out of there. Yikes!

A drive down the freeway for about 15 minutes should take care of the bees.
I'm guessing you think your car needs an alt/starter because it has the *click* *click* *start* issue?

I don't know if any of you remember that mysterious key/kill switch I have, well we really haven't figured out if that's affecting why I have a hard time starting it. It will do this thing where I'll turn the key over and it just won't start, there's not really a click or anything. But if I turn the key over repeately and quickly it'll start. Then there was an issue with my battary staying charged.

(or myself for those who know me better.) what's wrong with the car now? where do you live?

I live in Janesville!!!
To be totally honest with you, everything that was wrong with it before, is still wrong with it! I haven't been able to touch it since I've been pregnant.
First it needs the 60k tune up... she's got a coolant leak.... gotta get rid of the mysterious key/killswitch thing.... Struts/shocks.... might need a new alternator or starter....

Is it currently running? I could certainly take a look and see what you need done - then you decide if / when you fix the issues...

Nope, not running. I actually can't get it to stay started. The idle is all crazy. After I push the gas it just idles really low and dies. Argh....
I am looking for someone to work on it though, but like I said it's rough because I can't really get it anywhere unless I tow it. :0(
I have most, if not all the parts for the 60 k tune up somewhere around my house....

have you tried swapping ecu's to see if that solves the starting/running issue?

Being that I've had to replace ECU's in both my 3000gt's I can answer that. They are under kind of where the radio sits. You pull off the two inside panels and it's down there. When I replaced the ECU in my main car I can't believe how much shit just started working again. I mean things like cruise control that just all of a sudden worked like a charm. Also, several warning lights stopped going off. Replacing the ECU on did wonders for both my cars.
