I blew up 3 pistons, and have run all kinds of metal shavings thru to motor. It looks like a new short block is in my future. suxors. you going with an n/a or turbo short block?

I am not sure if I am going to pick up a new turbo short block, or if I am going to get my current block bored, honed, and drop some oversized forged pistons into it. I know my heads need work too, it doesn't look like I bent anything, but with the amount of crap we found inside the block they really should be cleaned up and redone.

Sounds like John needs a Right-Place-At-The-Right-Time deal on an engine.

sorry to hear Jon. are the turbos still good? if you got metal peices in the pistons and valves the turbos are right after. just an FYI, there might be something else to check. I'll keep my eyes open for a 6g72 around by me. good luck.

Contacted the gentleman today about the '93. When I hear back from him about a price, I'll let John know first, and then post it here secondly...
