Does anyone know if there is a place in the Waukesha area for mounting 18" tires on aluminum rims. There the same Fittipaldi Force rims that ver-fer has on his car.
I've been to a couple of places but they couldn't do them. I would like to avoid going to Forest Tire enter if possible. I need to replace a pair of tires before the UMG.
Thanks

The last time I went there with two 22" wheels they told me it would be about a 1/2 hour to mount them. 45 minutes later they hadn't touched them. I said I would come back in a couple of hours. 4 hours later they still hadn't done them.
I had to go home and come back the next day. When I came back to pick them up they wanted to charge me $15 per tire recycling fee. I said I would take the old ones and dispose of them myself. They argued with me that I couldn't do that. A man came out that seemed to run the facility and agreed I could take them with me.
I used forest tire when I was younger and lived near there and never had a problem. I just don't want to waste two trips all the way there if I don't have to.
I thought there might be a place closer to me that can do 18" aluminum wheels.

have you talked to firestone over by Kohls Dept. store? I have had them do things for my in the past with my Honda, and that has 18" rims on it.

Just to be fair to Forest tire. I went to seven different places around Waukesha and couldn't find any that were able to mount tires on my wheels. I bit the bullet and went back to Forest Tire. They treated me well and I was in and out in less than 40 minutes.
