Im tired of sinking money in the car only to have to drive Gregs old escort wagon around half the time any ways. Also, the other week it got broken into again which makes me want to throw in the towel on this car. I would love to keep it but it needs a paint job and misc other stuff. With being a slave to the 9-5 and having side businesses, I just dont have the time to put into it. So its time for me to get a normal daily driver - was thinking about getting a 98-00 Audi A4. Any ways, I am probably going to part it out so I can get the most money out of it. If I part it out, I figure it total between 7 to 9k depending on what prices I get for everything. I started a list of the parts - take a quick look over the list and let me know what you think about the prices.

Mike spent a lot of money on this car, and has a lot of nice parts.
He's honest - don't hesitate to work with him.

You know I was thinking of doing the same thing before I actually finished putting my car back together with all the new mods. So I don't blame you.
I was just thinking, is it worth it for self-gratification to start the car and make all the new mods officially used. Maybe I am just talking nonsense.

I can't believe you're still driving that Escort Wagon. You KNOW you'll miss the car if you sell/part it and you will HATE to loose all that $$ for nothing. Besides, if you buy an audi, who's to say that won't get broken into either?

Besides, if you buy an audi, who's to say that won't get broken into either? Well I put that new motor in back in the summer of 05 and I've hardly put 10k miles on it since then. I just dont enjoy it anymore and its time to move on for now. I'll be buying a house in the next couple months and dont need a car that just sits there. ...and yes, the escort is still running strong. I couldnt break that thing even if I tried....and believe me, I've tried. I know the Audi can be a maintenace nightmare, but you just have to be picky about the one that you buy. I dont have my heart set on a a4 yet, but I just need a somewhat reliable daily driver that I can enjoy driving and take on weekend road trips without worries (something I cannot do with the stealth). If anyone has a better suggestion for a DD that looks nice and is in the 5k to 10k price range, please let me know.

I hadnt driven the car for a few weeks and it gets broken into the first day I take it to work. It would need so much cosmetic work at this point to get it to where I want it, its just not worth it to me anymore.

If you going to part it out, I'll take the krank vents. Sorry to see it go. I also think you should re-consider. I think I still have the instructions for your MAF-T sitting on my tool box. I'm not really sure why I thought of that just now... but FYI...

So you want to sell the car cuz it doesn't "look pretty". I know one way to fix that.
