What instrument do you play?
Any interest in putting together a jam session with other W3SI peeps?

Quote: Any interest in putting together a jam session with other W3SI peeps? Anxious to get back behind those drums, eh Aaron?? Quote: Matty, tell us more about your band as well. Just three guys with no expectations who like to rock. We jam in an upstairs spare bedroom at my house. Two guitarists and a drummer, other guitarist might switch over to bass to give us more bottom end. Our set right now is.... The Cars - Just What I Needed The Who - Can't Explain Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here Tom Petty - Mary Jane's Last Dance Goo Goo Dolls - Long Way Down The Misfits - Saturday Night ...with a couple of original songs we tinker with. Been practicing off and on for over a year now, I think. Still searching for the perfect band name.

That's a hum dinger. Helps to have a good keyboard player for that one as well. I met Elliott's father by accident at some airport in FL (Melbourne, I think). I brought one of my axe's with me to keep up on my licks and he made some comment and then I looked at his name tag. He is one the better lefty's around. I'm not familar with any tune by the Misfits called Saturday Night -- which album is that from? Best, SJ

After years of trying and failing to nail John Petrucci's leads (Dream Theater), a brief Cars solo doesn't seem so bad, lol. SJ wrote: Helps to have a good keyboard player for that one as well. Keyboards? We play a non-keyboard version, hehe. SJ wrote: I'm not familar with any tune by the Misfits called Saturday Night -- which album is that from? Famous Monsters. Michale Graves era. Freakin awesome tune, possibly their best song and a little unlike their other stuff (slower). I should post a copy somewhere for download.

You really need keys for Cars -- Greg Hawkes was very innnovative and it really adds to the songs. I always fought to have one in our band. Yes, please do -- I'm not familar with it. Thanks, SJ

I'm in and out of feeling good right now, the horse pills are !@#$%^&! with my system. When I feel okay, it lasts at least long enough to have some fun like tossing the frisbee with the boy -- or -- last night back down on the axe. Here's some other old stuff coming out of me I doubt I have played since at least college: Turn To Stone, Funk #49 -- James Gang Good Friends and a Bottle Wine -- Ted Head Out To The Highway -- Priest Closer to the Heart, Red Barchetta -- Rush It's truly amazing -- these had been gone forever. I'm in a reggae funk right now that the weather has changed as well. Did you know Long Train Running makes a spanking reggae tune? SJ
