I stopped at about 15 different parts stores looking for copper crush washers to finish up the return and feed lines to my turbos, and while I was buzzing around, I came acrossed one of the A/C recharge kits.
I asked the guy if he sold them, because they are supposedly illegal here.
He said they do infact sell them now. WI congress let them in on a 150 day trial, and after that intend to make them legal.
The reason for this is to many people are just going out of state, buying them, and bringing them back to WI.
So, if you have hot A/C, you can now get the filler, sealer, oil, and three cans of r134a in a kit, and try to fix it yourself.
Well, that's all I got. See ya
Adam

Did you find the crush washers? I think I have some left if you need them.

yes. Thanks though.
EDIT: I saw the kit in car quest, just in case anyone cares... probably will make it's way to the other stores quickly.

The fittings they come with won't hook up to our AC lines. You need an adaptor.

He said something about that, but I told him I didn't need one yet, and then he stopped trying to push it.

Looks like the latter part of that statement was wrong, as stores around here that I went to no longer carry the kits. "We were allowed to sell them last summer, but we're not allowed to any more, but maybe again this summer," was the basic gist.
