I am going to be moving to Wisconsin this summer with my wife, and we are starting our house search. We want to buy a nice house that would be ok to move into right away, but it would be a fix-er-up-er so we can make it the way we want and get it on the cheaper side. Right now we have found a house for sale in Fox Lake, and one in Brandon that look like something we might like.
Does anyone live near or in these two cities and can tell me anything about them? And if so, go look at the houses we are interested in and maybe take some pics for us?
Thank you,
Jason

Forgot to add, I have family all over up there, and my dad lives in the Lomira area, so I might be looking around the Fond Du Lac area as well. Especially around the lake.
Thanks again,
Jason

An hour + from me. Hope somebody can hook you up. If they are for sale from a realty, you should be able to have them take pictures for you.
good luck!

We are still waiting to hear back from the Realty. We were just kinda wondering about the area and what it looks like. I have not been up that way in a long time.

Nope. I swear, the only reason I've ever had to go west of Madison was to visit Aaron and get my car painted.

Sorry, I don't know that area to well, but Fond Du Lac isn't to bad. I have a few friends there. I believe some grew up in the area you are looking at.

I am looking at anywhere around that area. I was born in Brookfield, then lived in Theresa, then lived in Mayville, WI. When I was 6 I moved to Ohio, then Georgia, and now Pennsylvania. My wife has only lived in Pennsylvania.
The Fond Du Lac - Lomira - Mayville area would be our best bet, but we want to stay under $60k for a house. I have family up there I can live with till I find a house, I would just like to get a house first if possible.
