One of the "issues" with having a bright kid in this day and age is all the stuff they are involved with (none of which was around whence I was a kid). I mean, this is Junior High for goodness sake...

Because she's President of Student Council, the state has this leadership council called the WASC. So we're all here for the winter reunion.

On they way, passing The Dells, eating breakfast at Denny's this morning... only makes me think of one thing.

'94 vr4- Now with extra slowness

It means for me it's a really bad weekend. As most of you know, I'm a Master and 32-degree Scottish Rite Mason. This weekend is
our Spring Reunion down at the Scottish Rite hall in downtown Milwaukee. That's just a fancy name for degree work for new initiates and for all others that have gone before to gather.

I'm part of the degree work. The reunion lasts three days -- Thursday through Saturday. Saturday is obviously the biggest day with four degrees, breakfast, lunch and a banquet. The team I work on needs like five people -- we have three, and it's hard to get all three of us there for the duration, so usually it's two. Without me it'll be one...

It means if I cannot make other arangements, I may not get there until Saturday night -- at the earliest -- and that's blowing off the banquet.

Zack and Haley have already been fighting about who's "turn" it is to go. Haley had such fun last year schooling Oskar's son and friend on the Karts, she wanst to come back. It really is Zack's turn, but he may have camping, and now because he's First Class and a PL, that leads to other logistical nightmares...

I'll work on it. That's all I can do.
