EDIT: I'm getting into it with Auggie on us3s... because it's fun... and he doesn't have as much of a sheild there... other than mod status, but if he deletes anything or bans me, he's a complete hypocrite... where's my onions? I really should follow the 3S boards more often these days. I haven't chuckled this much in a long time. Thanks for the good reading material Greg.
This Brandon guy could use a dose of humble pie. From the threads I've read that he's started recently he comes across as insolently proud, pretentious, and trying too hard to veil his inexperience with cars in general. I can see why people are sometimes a bit harsh on his threads. Maybe he's less brash in person, I've never met him...
Second. Brett's response to DJAuggie was priceless ("I would once again like to thank Auggie for continuing to give W3Si joke material at our gatherings". But, what's even more priceless, is the DJAuggie's response to Brett. I think Brett's comment went right over his head and he doesn't realize he was the butt of a good jest... Double-whammy.
I think Eric needs to start another GB on DJ Auggie's Weaksauce Dipped Miniature Onions.
Regards JR

My problem is how he picks and chooses how he wants to apply the rules. I actually thought I was doing a service to him by posting the dyno that he planned to post. Wait a sec... Is this i am me n u r u posting as Auggie?

Brandon's a bit more layed back in person, I guess.
Auggie completely missed Brett's point. Priceless.
Why does unclebenny have the monopoly in weaksauce?

Damn. They're really ripping him a new asshole on there. I did about 95% of his engine install for him, but I feel kind of bad that I didn't get to finish everything. He paid me hourly to come do it(I'd never met him before). I drove about 4 hours each way to do it, and I spent an entire day in his shop doing it. By the end of the day, I was beat. But seriously, in person he's not a bad guy. I've only talked to him the one day though. I'm not defending the way he acts on the forums, because I can understand why you guys would say what you do about him.
But I can tell you this...he DOES have a lot of money in his car....

I talked to him to over the phone, i didnt have any problems with him. Seems like people are somewhat jealous because of what he has in his car. Im sure some of his statements might be uncalled for but ive seen everyone post things before that have been uncalled for also. Seems like 3SI has a problem if someone is on the boards that are not afarid to spend some cash and share with the platform what they have done or are going to do. Especially something thats out of the box thinking or different, like the thread on the co2....is there any hardcore proof of results with it?!? or does everyone just assume its a watse because of someone on the boards who is well known says its a bad idea. Ive read alot of stuff on the internet about our cars and i also read alot of B.S. that people post or have directions about doing/fixing something. I just cant figure out why people say/post inaccurate information....actually i think they just want to feel like they serve a purpose even if its total b.s.
Seems like some car forums have people on em who dont have sh%t for cash but they still want to contribute to the platform. Its just fine and dandy but post accurate info and dont hate on those who can drop the cash to see if certain things will work or not.. especially a private party. Do you honestly think the speed shops (especially over the net) Are gonna tell you every secret in the book??!!?! Come on, get real if you think like that.
Brian

new one. already 10 pages. gonna run tens on 15Gs. should be easy with a good tune, and dense cold wisconsin air. http://www.3si.org/forum/showthread.php?t=346313pody3kgt wrote: Damn. But I can tell you this...he DOES have a lot of money in his car.... yeah, I met you... you guys came over to my house looking for the infamous rear turbo oil return line fitting. I also felt bad for him in the first thread where he got banned, and nobody else did. that was mod favoritism at it's best... but he did sort of bring it on himself. I also agree with brian on the fact that just because it wasn't a popular member of 3si posting about that intercooler sprayer, it got flamed. BUT if he wants to spray an intercooler after he just dropped huge money on a top of the line one, why not just get an e-bay one and then spray it? shouldn't an uber expensive top of the line intercooler not need a sprayer to cool air well? or at least get a temp gauge and find out what's really happening... or even bend down and feel the passenger side of the intercooler before declairing that an intercooler sprayer is needed and will get 50 hp... and don't post fake dyno sheets... and... nevermind. I don't really care. I don't need to flame him, over half of 3si is doing that already. throwing money around and having an uber-shiny engine bay doesn't always get respect. Especially when you 'post' before you 'do', or call out or rag on other members cars.

Hey now, I wasn't the one calling it an oil RETURN fitting...I ended up sending him the one I used before I switched to 16G's.
