I don't want to go to any gathering that a Wraith will be at. Seriously though, I can't play foosball, I would only get pissy after losing repeatedly and feel the need to pick up a tool and work on (someone else's) car and nobody wants to see that, trust me. TitleistGTO wrote: I see nobody post to that. They are scared off the wraith that I will bring when the table comes with.

Hey all, kinda wanted to resurrect this thread. Still planning on swooping over from big MI with both Mits'. Need to buy parts and want to make sure I have this purchase right or if anyone has shit locally that they can pawn into my cars, here is my best guesstimate as to what I need to bring with me: plugs/wires (self explanatory) oil pressure sender/oil pressure gauge (no clue here, could use some help on ordering correctly) fog light bulbs (self explanatory) A/C recharge; Greg, you still planning on being there, please say yes, love to meet you (and get my A/C recharged at the same time). Not that I'm selfish. . . . . damn, you had me at hello, and selfish. . . shit, just show up. Power antenna (could use some help here, what do I order) ECS, it just flashes on/off constantly (Again could use some help here, what to order, if anything) Anyway, that is about it. I certainly hope all you worthless, miserable, rat-bastard Wisconsinites make it to this humble gathering because I am going to make the supreme effort to grace your presence (be you ever so lucky) and furthermore, it would be great to see you all again. Michigan Man, boy, beast???. . . . out Bret P.S. Hey, how about a confirmation here, let's do right by this event; 1) Adam + guest. 2) Matt P. 3) Bert 4) Brandon 5) Matt R. 6) Kyle (Bunk) 7) John H. 8- Greg & Joanna 9) Bret & Mechanic Chad Still accurate? Anyone know what P.S. stands for? bret.holbrook wrote: Hey everyone, was considering commuting out for this and dragging my mechanic out to help wrench while I sat around drinking beer. It's about a 6-7 hour drive though, so my mechanic and I will definately need to crash someones pad. I'll need directions or an address. Here is the short list of what I need on the cars, I think it's minor stuff but let me know if we won't be able to work on it.
VR4 Plugs/Wires Oil pressure sender/Oil Pressure gauge Fog lights (bulbs) A/C recharge? I've never recharged it, I wonder how low it is.
Power antenna, stripped out
Mini-Mits Oil pressure gauge Fog light (front-left assembly) ECS, it just flashes on/off constantly A/C recharge, currently bone-dry
1) Adam + guest. 2) Matt P. 3) Bert 4) Brandon 5) Matt R. 6) Kyle (Bunk) 7) John H. 8- Greg & Joanna 9) Bret & Mechanic Chad

Hey Bret, I can take care of all that stuff for you. Should only take me a few hours. I'm going to need $35 for the R134a and the seal conversion kit. You can pay me for this at the gathering or whenever. Power anntena may require a special socket & grease. We'll probably have to run to the store to get them. I also need a volt meter to diagnose the ECS. Now if it hails, your car needs to be moved out of the garage so mine can go inside. Oil sender & pressure switch would best be baught at a dealer. If you can afford it, I'd also suggest replacing the wire harness for them if we're doing your spark plugs (but it's NOT necessary). If you call GZP and order them thru us (we get 25% discounts on all mitsu parts), I can bring them with.

GB gathering is still on.
Grill has been test fired. Pool is still 84 degrees.
Car is so close to done I can see the finish line.

I forgot, the cruise control on both cars too are no longer functional. All the lights come on correctly when you set the cruise it just doesn't work. Do you have, or can you get, any of the old coolant so that I don't have to do the conversion? My mechanic mentioned that the conversion isn't 100% and isn't a great way to go if you can still get the old stuff. Also, on my mini-mits, AC never worked so not sure if there is a leak or not so would have to trouble-shoot that one from scratch. Put some in, check for leaks, etc. GZP? Phone number or web site and instructions on how to order them through you? (or is that where you work) I need to purchase plugs/wires, how about light bulbs for the fog lights, do you just get those anywhere? Also, what plugs/wires do I get, I'm bone stock so just tell them what I'm driving and they'll hook it up. And finally, I was asking earlier about the 100k and it was suggested a fuel filter? Is that something I should order and we can put on (by we I mean you of course haha). I'd like to come as prepared as possible, but I'm really pretty damn stupid when it comes to the mechanics of cars. Thanks again. G-ELL wrote: Hey Bret, I can take care of all that stuff for you. Getting the fog lights open to replace the bulb, might be a pain. I know the 2gs are a huge pain. Especially cars that have seen winter salt. later, Curt

Hmm, both my cars are 1g and have never seen the snow so maybe not so bad. I'll probably wait until I get up to WI and just run down to the parts store. Thanks again. curt_gendron wrote: bret.holbrook wrote: , how about light bulbs for the fog lights, do you just get those anywhere? Fog lights are H3 bulbs. Does anybody have a pair of bluetop 450s layin around? I've got 4 already, maybe we could setup my maft setup if I can wrangle two more. Also, what would I need to get for vacuum reduction? Hopefully I'll have my precats gutted by then :wince:

Greg,
Here is what I came up with for pricing on my end, you want to check down there?
NGK plugs 1.89ea, wires 81.99. Oil pressure sender (I need 2) 65.09 ea Radiator? 200 bones thermostat and gasket was a whopping 14 bucks
That's from Napa, that look any good? I'm going to check the dealership on the same but I assume Napa will be lower. Any recommendations? I don't want to buy bunk stuff but none of it was in stock so I will have to order it in advance.

get a mitsu t-stat. not a napa one. they don't have the right temp setting. I believe they are to cold... you'll have to double check that.
I would also get mitsu/accel/MSD 8.5 wires, never seen a good set of parts store wires. MSD 8.5s would be my first choise. try IPO. they *had* them cheap...
why are you getting a radiator? did you flush it already and it didn't work?

I just checked before, I believe autopartswarehouse has msd's for like $113 shipped. Do all three trim levels use the same wires? Cause they only had one part number.
