I know one thing about Jons car. It's got an aluminum oil pan.
The turbos have a steel one.
I was going to mount a -an fitting to the pan, but had to buy a new steel one to cut up instead, as my pan is not, infact aluminum like the fitting I had.
My Pan also had rust spots on it, which I have now ground down to metal and re-coated in engine enamel.
Other than that, the only thing that I know about Jons car is that there is no driveshaft, and that seems really odd to me.
Buck up, Eric. If you don't fix your car, what will the trees throw apples at?

I am in the same boat, but I did finally get off of my butt and get the 450cc injectors installed tonight, and replaced the spark plugs with new ones gapped at .030. Maybe at some point I will put in the resistors and see how the car works.

I'm not touching this thing for a while if I can get it running right... Jon, I thought you said the car ran like @$$ with non-resistor injectors in, and without the resistors wired in. Are the 450s different? or are you just not using the car at all?

Are the 450s different? or are you just not using the car at all? Yes I did say that, and yes that is the case. I have the resistors in a box in the car, I just haven't wired them in yet. I am not using the car at all at this point. Maybe this weekend (if I get around to wiring in the injectors) I will start to re-tune it wit the new injectors and plugs.
