I was wondering if anybody has installed an egt probe and if they have the bit to do it. Any help would be great.

Just use any standard bit to drill the manifold. You'll then just need a pipe thread tap. Double check your particular probe to be sure on the thread matching. You can give me a call at (715) 824-3609 of you have more questions, or just post on here. The tapping is pretty straightforward, are you doing it to the front or rear manifold?

I've got mine tapped to the rear manifold, but it was tapped while the motor was out of the car. Donno how you'd get at it with everything installed. I would recommend tapping it to the rear though because they run leaner than the front bank (unless you go with a dual feul feed setup).
Regaurdless of which manifold you do, first decided where you are going to tap. Mine is tapped in the collector because the runners are too small for the long probe to fit in. If you do it on one of the runners, tap about 3-5" away from the head. This is because any closer will give you false readings.
I honestly don't remember the size of the bit you would need to use. Start drilling into the manifold with the motor off. When you get about 1/2 - 3/4 of the way threw, stop and start the motor. Before the manifold gets too hot, finish drilling the rest of the way threw. The exhaust will keep any metal shavings from getting into your turbos. Good idea to be wearing some type of eye protection for this too.
I know my both my Apexi and Greddy EGT had the thread pitch listed in the booklet that came with the gauges. Wish I could remember the pitch, but I do remember both probes were the same...
