Thought i would post this cause i know i said to a few people at UMG we would be there. NG06 that is...
Anyways i think i have a broken shift fork in my tranny, basicly it wouldnt go into any gear like it was locked up, i did have 6 speed shifter cables in the car (i did say 5 speed when i ordered them) cause i removed em and installed the 5 speed ones from a 3si member and the 5 speed cables where alot shorter. So my car is down for the year (no cash to fix it) and last friday christine's car overheated, she did notice the temp gauge and pulled over and shut the car off, what happened was the thermostat didnt open up when the motor was hot and all the coolant backed up into the overflow. So now her car is running good now except it sometimes starts hard and a check engine light pops up once in a while.
So im thinking its time to save some extra cash for a different tranny and possiably a different motor (STORMEASTON has one) for Christine's car.
Brian
Well is anyone looking for 6 speed cables? Pretty much brand new from the dealership with the brass bushings on the ends.

Ouch! Sorry to hear that, Brian. Its going to suck not having you two there. I also have a little bad news about my car. It seems as if the Quaife LSD is OOS and on backorder at any place with a reasonably good price, so I may not have it in in time for the NG. Seems as if this NG might be the worst one yet for us from WI.

I thought it was going to be cool to have my car there this year, but no one will even know, becuase no ones actually going. NG 06 is now unclebenny and the vr-slow in a st joseph parking lot talking to himself. To make things even cooler, Sam's not coming either.

I will not be at NG06.
Neither of the cars will have a transmission. I do not have money. I am not happy.
