Well, I'm available Fri and Sat next weekend John; let me know when we're doing this. In unrelated news, MSDizzles installed today, along with some minor vacuum hose re-routing. I think the majority of my hesitation issue was the mad K&N oil getting sucked into the motor(dont try this at home kids). Between de-oiling of the filter to a normal level, and the new wires, she runs well again.

Oh wait, you got all that innercooler stuff in the way, so add another 10 minutes to that time. Seriously?? That fast? Dont I have to take the half shafts out? Helpful short-cut tips: Note: These will only work if you have a FWD tranny! You don't need to remove the exhaust. You don't need to remove the drivers axle. You don't need to remove the lower crossmember below the tranny. You don't need to remove the rear turbo intake tube. You don't even need to remove the shifter cables. Just undo the tranny from the motor (4 17mm bolts up top, 2 on the sides, and 4 14mm bolts on the bottom, along with 2 14mm bolts for the starter (leave it plugged into the harness and just set it on the radiator fan or someplace out of the way)) and pull it straight towards the passenger side of the car. Gentally set the tranny on the crossmember so it's far enough away from the motor to get at the pressure plate bolts.

Thanks for the tips Greg, I just hope it goes as well as you think it should. I would like to do the clutch install this Sat. (June 3rd) in the morning, say starting around 10 am. That should give us tons on time to get it installed. Joe, Eric, SJ does that work? (I dont expect SJ or Eric to do much work.)

I'm not sure how you want to work this, or if you were planning on going to the frollic action....

John, depending on Joanna's surgery this week, I'm tentively comming to the Frolic. If you'd be willing to pick me up from Chicago late friday afternoon, I'd be willing to lend a hand in doing your clutch.

I, too, plan to attend the Frolic. I also have my own trans to pull and tear down this weekend. I'll still try and make it out to lend a hand.
