Hey just curious how many skiers and snowboarders we have here???

Kinda interested in places to go.. So if youve been somewhere in or around wisconsin maybe share what it was like?

Just curious where everyone goes and what it was like, if I havent been there?

For me I have a season pass to skibrule in upper michigan.. And I love it.. Its a good place to go snowboarding and skiing.. I like the board park and that the best..

Anyone want to share where they have been and what it was like? Ive been to a bunch of different places and Ill share if anyone responds to this thread..

I would have to say that Indian Head is my favorite. I would like to get back to White Cap and Devils Head again, they where nice hills also.

I never liked Brule though but both times I when it was early in the year and the snow sucked maybe i'll have to try later in the year.

Ver Fer.. Cool man. I liked indian head as well.. Never been to devils head or white cap..

I would have to say brule is my favorite place.. just cause to me it has one of the nicer places for jumps and that.. Plus its pretty close.

I also want to try Granite Peak(old rib mountain) heard its decent..

Ive been to:
Skibrule
Lutsen Mountains(in min) probably my favorite but it was like 7hrs away.
Indian head
Marguette mtn
Norway mtn
Pine mtn
Blackjack
Powderhorn

I would say all are pretty decent at least in there own way..

Granite is ok. One of the runs has a huge rock in it (at least it did when I was there 5yrs ago) right at a drop. Its good for some sweet air.

Cool, only thing I dont like about Granite already is that they say they have like 72 runs or something.. Which is BS. Well not true runs anyway. I think thats stupid..

No one else skis/snowboards besides us or what?

I like to do a little skiing here and there. maybe 2-3 times a year, but now I only live about 3 miles from Tyrol basin in Mt Horeb. It's just 20mins west of madtown. Pretty decent there IMO. Course i've only been to a couple other places. Ready to try snowboarding this year. Any body else???

i went to granite peak last year and they have 74 runs i had a blast definately way better than brule lotsa new updates including a 1.5 million dollar lodge ive never been to indian head or the others so i would like to go theresometime but by far granite peak is better than brule IMO...

Cool. may have to check them out sometime.. Ive heard some people say it was good.

I just go to Brule cause my family goes there sometimes and all my friends seem to like Brule the most out of the ones that are fairly close..

powderhorn is nice...i learned how to snowboard there....

i am more of a snowboarder than a skiier, but i'll do both.... we should get a bunch of people to go somewhere....... go spend a night at a lodge and spend 1-2 skiing/snowboarding...that would be LOTS of fun!

I was actually thinking the same thing a few months back.. But doesnt really seem like that many people really ski/snowboard on here really..

Cool idea though, but not sure if it would work!
