Just got back from taco bell.
On the way out I caught a red light next to an electric wheel chair. As soon as I get there the dude looks over at me and starts inching forward, like he's in a hurry for the green light. Probably thinking he would take me and impress his girl. (no, I sh*t you not. She was sitting on his lap.)
So I'm there, and throw one foot on the brake, one on the gas. (auto tranny in the benz.) auto-stick shift it into first, so it stays there to red line. At this point the girl looked worried. I probably would have been too. No seat belt, only holding on by her arms around his neck...
Anywho, light turns green, and he had me beat for the first 5 feet. (better reaction time and way lighter.) But after that, the supercharger started spinning, and I caught, passed and left him in the dust before we went through the intersection.
race went to about 10 mph, as I think that's as fast as his chair went.
My Mods: Stock C230 with baby seat in back.
His Mods(thatI saw): Rubber wheel conversion, Dual orange visibilty flags, half a dozen sticker-reflectors on the back of his seat, and a carbon fiber pistol grip control stick.
Cliff notes: two handicapped people raced. one in a wheel chair, the other a retard in a C230. C230 one.(won.)
Now that's what I call handy-capable.

no, I didnt' get slips.
I didn't actually race him.
On the way out of taco bell, I did pull up next to a wheel chair that had taken over the right side "straight lane" at the intersection, though. he did have a girl sitting across his lap.
When the light turned green I did beat him across the intersection. but I don't think he was racing.
He did have everything I said but the carbon fiber grip handle, though...
I just thought it was hilariously post worthy.
