Is this on top of the cost of the hoodie/shirt?
YES.
Everyone:
Just to be clear -- in each case, everything we've ever printed has had a set up charge. For the t-shirts, Jesse and I ate the $25.00. For the embroidered shirts, I ate the $75.00. We did this because we want all of you to have the best stuff out there -- and the coolest.

For example, the $45 for the polo's includes the cost of the high quality shirt AND the cost of embroidering the logo on it, which is like $8-$10 per shirt or hat. We don't mark anything up. Maybe we should have, I don't know -- we're not here to make money. Now covering costs, yeah, I'd like to do that.
Anything beyond the W3SI logo will be charged a set up fee. This, as I am told, includes the back office work of them scanning our logo, retouching as necessary to take it from a designed photoshop logo to whatever it is they call an embroidered logo, color matching and running a sample, which allows their mongo computerized machines to embroider our logo in any combination of colors to correlate with the colors of the shirt, hat, et al. (It's kind of cool actually -- if you ever want to see it, let me know. I can arrange that.)
Keep in mind our guy also gives us the 25 quantity and above price break -- which he doesn't have to -- we are so small peanuts to all ths stuff he does. But, we're lucky -- our daughters go to school together and he's a good guy.
So, what I'm trying to say is, we've covered the W3SI logo on the t-shirts and the polos -- if you guys want the cars, that's fine, but I'm going to ask that we split that set up fee amongst the folks that want them. I hope that sounds fair.
Once it's there, it can be printed on anything -- hats, shirts, coats -- you name it.
And Greg -- I need a new winter coat too -- my black leather jacket I bought back in 1998 finally gave out last winter, so I will investigate leather coats, even if it's just for me and you. If you have a preference, let me know. Remember -- I was once your size, but no more, so I'll need a XXL.
Anything is possible here folks -- we just want to be sure it's apropos, the highest quality we can find, and it preserves what I'll call our identity.
IMHO, we have the makings of the best damn chapter out there. I think I speak for everyone when I say we want this to succeed -- famously.
And before I forget, I have not forgotten about doing the shorts right for the ladies (which my daughter currently wears to her cheerleading practice constantly... they all want a pair) and new, larger static stickers for the windshields -- for everyone.
I hope this clears up how all this controlled chaos works. Let me know what you guys think and one way or another, we'll make it happen.
Best,
SJ
