Here is another good one. Can you put Struts from a 96 TT on a 91 ES ? Would aftermarketsprings that fit the TT work on an es also? I think they are pretty much the same. There is no ride control stuff it looks like it's straight forward. I need to know about both front and back. Thanks Tim

Do you mean the factory struts won't or the intrax springs? Why won't they work?

The TT springs will be really poor due to the difference in spring stiffness to handle the added weight.
The front struts would also fit, but would be much stiffer than the fwd ones due to the added TT weight again.
I do know that the part #'s are all different from the FWD and the TT models. Also ECS and non ECS are different.

So basicly if you don't like a stiff ride don't be changing over to the TT's Would it affect my over all handling also? Like would the car be over responsive ? Or feel like she's floating??

Just as an update on this thread, I talked to the boys at 3sx about this strut thing and springs. He said the fronts could work no real problems noted but rears are totally diffrent. Springs and struts, I would assume it's a AWD thing but it makes sense. Tim

Another up date: The springs off a 95'-96 Stealth willwork talked to a few more people and Groundcontrol, What they said was that putting the 95-96 strut (it is longer), it probably won't work . But The springs slip over and will match just fine. How can this be I said? They said the ride control on TT's was discontinued in 94 so the 95-96's is much more simmilar to a Na/ ES spring . So that's what they send to TT owners when the order for these cars,(95-96 TT) AWD. Maybe this will help someone down the road . Tim
