Would you trust your car to some schmo you've met on the internet or the trained mitsu techs that are supposed to be experts on your car.
The average guy would go for the latter...

Hey guys, yes I am the new member that got ripped at the dealership. I did try to get the guys from milwaukee mopar to do it, but they never returned my email. I was desperate to get it done, because I was having nightmares involving my timing belt breaking. Yes the car is now fixed, It was a 2 dollar fuse the dealer must have blown with the 60k service. In retrospect I am sorry I took my car there, and In the future I will find the time to do it myself, or locate someone in this forum to do it. The guys at 3si knew more than the dealership, and I appreciated their help in fixing it. I am new to this site also, joined today when I saw myself on it. I hope to learn more about my car as time goes on, this site is a good tool for that.

Hey, glad to see you made it over here. This is Monochrome from 3si. (Trying to get our administrator to change my name over here for me.  ) With enough time in searching and asking questions, you can pretty much figure out anything you need with these cars. There's well over 6 years worth of threads on that board which cover everything from checking the ECU to how to put air in your tires. I was in the same boat as you 5 years ago when I finally got fedup with paying someone to mess up my car when I figured I can do it myself for free. I'll be honest with you, the only reason I knew what was wrong with your car was because I made the same mistake once. _________________ 06 Blue EVO 9

Thank you monochrome. I can sleep easy tonight knowing my car works again. It was a tough go, you and Jack Daniels helped pull me through this. I don't drink and drive. Its always one or the other. Don't know why I am so obsessed about my car, but when its not running right it drives my crazy. Just wondering do you work on other peoples cars on the side. If I need anything else done?

You'll find most of us here are obsessed with our cars...
If there's something you'd like to tackle yourself and would just like someone there who's done it before, I'm your guy. If you just want to drop your car off somewhere and pay someone to get something done, Jeff would probably be your better choice.

yeah, Dealers aren't worth Sh!t I went to the one in Hayward when I first got my car and asked them to order a repair manual, or if they even happened to have one laying around? okay I go in with about 5 minutes before closing time and ask, "Do you have or can you order a repair manual for a 1991 Dodge Stealth Base for me?" He looks at me like  and says, "I don't think Dodge made such a car, Sorry we're closing now." So he didn't even look it up  I left...  Then I few weeks later I stumbled across this site... _________________
