Brett, if this will be your 1st EBC, I'd strongly recommend the Blitz DSBC spec-R as it is one of the easiest to use and has your built in boost gauge with peak/hold and boost cut defence.

I am going to do a E-write up on how to install a greddy. That seems to be another question asked on 3si every 3 days.
The greddy works pretty good for being the cheapest EBC out there. It's also the smallest EBC I've seen yet, if you like to hide things. You do have to plumb a vacuum line through the firewall. that sucks.
Just looked at the pics of the spark plug change. wow. not good. not good.
We are also no longer working on the cars after we drink. only before. new rule.
Liven' in the LC Forever BABY!!!

I've got weddings the next two weekends, so my saturdays are shot, but my sundays should be open (unless there's some kind of dumb "day-after the wedding / watch the opening of gifts / kill me now" thing ... which I suppose there might be?). I'll find out about those sundays and let you know. Also, I don't think I can drive out to Madison until I get a new tire since my right-front now has a plug in it (another NG victim). Luckily, S-03 Potenzas are cheap.

I've done 5 highway pulls since we changed the plugs.
All of them, my car drops off power around 4800-5000 rpms in 3rd gear. This morning on the way to work I brought it up to about 95mph and my check engine light went on, and it stayed on until I reduced my speed til about 45.
New plugs - check
Possible other items? Wires/New Downpipe(current leaks)/Coil Packs/Boost failure(no clue what boost I'm running yet)

could still have boost leaks. weak coils. what's the check engine light for? Need a logger. btw: those weren't new plugs. they had 500 miles on them, and no one seems to like champion plugs. get some NGK coppers. One would think that the ECU would see the right hertz in an unmodded car and pull fuel for less air, so it shouldn't stutter. *SIGH* Get some plugs, and we'll pressure test it. We'll tear it down far enough to spin the turbos, also. I'll see how much a pressure gauge is at my uncles... seems to be in high demand in our circles... EDIT: My new wires should be here soon. (tonight??) and we may have to pull an all nighter to look at a few cars. Brandon and I are already set up for a PT. your more than welcome to stop by. We'll work on all the cars...

Yeah unfortunetly I dont have the kind of money for logging stuff at the moment, I was going to pick up Roys downpipe/gutted cat fairly soon, just because its a stellar deal.
After that I'm thinking logging stuff, but that may not be until September. Damn all you 2nd gen guys.
Adam I'll be in Milwaukee tonight saying goodbye to a buddy, so I cannot make your lil party.
Brandon and I were talking about racing at WIR next friday night, but I'm going to see how the car runs from here until there.... I really wanna log this shit.

Okay running some pricing, I guess datalogging necessecities aren't as expensive as a thought.
129 for the cable/software from shiver.
Now as for the PDA, there's a Palm VX for sale on 3si under MISC section for 45, anyone know Palms? I'd like a backlight, but obviously the cheaper the better.

Yay for postwhoring.
Okay I answered my own question, and the following is for future reference for me
Q: What PDA's are compatible with these cables? A: Our dataloggers are hardware compatible with the following PDA's:
-All Palm PDA's with OS 3.1 or greater. Newer palm Zires and Tungstens will not work. You need a palm with a serial cable or cradle, USB WILL NOT work.
-All Handspring PDA's with OS 3.1 or greater. Some newer handsprings are not compatible (list coming soon). You WILL NEED a serial cable for these, since Handspring's only come with USB ports. You WILL ALSO NEED to purchase our special Handspring dataloggers. These have an external power tap that must be connected into the fuse box via a spade connector.
-Some Sony Clie's with OS 3.5 or greater work. S360 and SJ20 have been tested to work. Clie NX70V, NX60, NZ90, and TG50 have bad serial ports and are not compatible. Once again as with the Handspring devices, you WILL NEED a special serial hotsync cable. We currently do not sell these at this time, but they can be found on e-bay for around $7.
