Taking a scenic trip up through Door County
here is what I am thinking. leaving from Green Bay, taking hwy 54 up to algoma continuing on 42 to sturgeon bay stoping for lunch at ? (yet to be determined) and continuing on 57 to scenic Gills rock stoping at the gift shops and getting some smoked fish, and then heading back down 42 to ephrahm to historic Wilsons icecream shop for some ice cream and photo op. then continuing to fish creek for some fun on the go carts. afterwards continuing on 57 back to Green Bay stoping at bay shore park for some more photos....
keep in mind this is all tentative depending on interest. If there is a reasonable amount of interest I will work out the details and do some more planing. I.E. get times, add more stops, etc, etc.

Yes I would be interested, sounds like fun.
Is this road a state historic road? I used to seek these roads out but I lost my pamphlet telling me where they are located.
I have many weddings to attend in the next two months so I don't know if I can attend depending on the date.

no it is not a historic road but it is a very nice road to travel in the fall with the leaves changing color and such
well as far as a date I am open to suggestions, what ever works best for the majority of people.

You should try driving in the concrete jungle down here during the rut. We already have deer running all over the roads down here. Its rediculous.

actually that was my thought, as I am pretty much booked for the rest of the month with my birthday coming up next monday I am planning a 4 day stuper, and a fishing trip the following weekend. so the first or second weekend in october was kinda the thought. that should give everyone a fair warning.. what do you guys think should we take kali up on her offer for the first weekend in october??

by tha way just so everyone is clear
this is NOT a w3si sponsored event it IS just a bunch of us getting together for a nice countryside drive..
with that said lets see some more input on what weekend everyone wants to do this.
