Hey everybody! Just wanted to invite all of you to come over to our place for the Mount Horeb Frolic.
There will be live bands, fairground rides, and a beer tent among other things. I will be hosting supper (steaks, brats, pork chops, hamburgers, hotdogs) and a couple barrels for everybody. Feel free to bring food items, beverages, or donations are always welcome.
I have a pool table and dartboard downstairs for entertainment. I have room inside to sleep about a dozen people and there is some room for a few tents in the yard if you want to do that. Bring your sleeping bags!

I have family coming up for lunch, so we'll probably get the party started around 4pm, but you are welcome to show up any time.

Where is Mount Horeb you ask? Well, it's about 20 minutes west of Madison off of hwy 18/151. Our address is 121 Parkway Drive, look it up on mapquest. I will post driving directions later.

Other possible entertainment---
Golf course, bowling alley, fishing, tons of little shops on main street.

Please RSVP by posting on this thread by May 30th so I know how much food to get. Let me know if you are bringing food and if you plan on crashing here.

Yes, I'm interested. I'm checking on my Wife's schedule of family activities.. I think I can get away for the afternoon, but the day will be consumed taking our grandma to the sights in madison.....

And for anyone interested. I figured out the mystery of the "Prize Ticket". I found the actual ticket, the one I pulled from my wallet was from a Gas Station drawing up north... Funny they used the same kind of tickets...

To get to my place in Mount Horeb-
get on 18-151, Mount Horeb is about 20 miles west of Madison. Exit and go north on hwy 78. Go 1/4 mile, stop, take a right on county ID. Go about 3/4 mile (past the Do It Center) and take the first street to your right (south) which will be Blue Mounds road. Go to the bottom of the hill (1/2 mile) and take a left (east) on Parkway drive Go to the second set of townhouses and look for the party. 121 Parkway Drive.
