Hey all, it looks like I may be driving up Tuesday next week instead of Thursday.

I will be joining a MI canoe group canoeing WI rivers that week. One of the guys writes/publishes books on canoeing or more specifically the river, the liveries, and the taverns. He has published two books about MI canoeing already.

Anyway, it looks like I will be driving up Tuesday the 12th to Spring Green, staying at Spring Green motel Tuesday night and canoeing the Baraboo river Wednesday at 11am.

Following I would be staying Wed night at Best value Inn in Baraboo and canoeing the Kickapoo river in Ontario, WI on Thursday at 11AM.

Following that of course returning to WI Dells.

Anyway, not sure what you all have going on that week, but anyone who has time off or are unemployed schlepps like myself are welcome to join me.

The authors name is Doc, the web site for his books are www.canoeingmichiganrivers.com if anyone wants to check it out. The WI book research is going on all summer and will be published end of this year or beginning of next year.

If anyone is interested, let me know and I can provide more details.

Sounds kind of interesting. But I'm very anti-manual labor so I don't think I'd canoe. Take some pics and I want to hear some stories. I'll actually be in Wisconsin Dells starting Monday, May 11th. We are staying a full week this year.

Oh man, that sounds so awesome. If I didn't have so much work left to do on my car for the umg, i'd go for sure.

You should at least do the baraboo trip on wednesday, just 20 minutes sout of the dells and when did canoeing involve manual labor? It's about as labor intensive as the time it takes to get the beer from the cooler and into my hand. The river pretty much does the rest.
