Anyone else blow a coolant line on their 3/S today? I did.

The same one that Verfer and I looked at, and decided it sucked early in the UOGBG, so we cut it shorter and put it back on.

Well, it split along the seam. and pissed hot coolant all over my engine bay. Go me.

It didn't get above 105* C at any time, so it should be ok. but it was still hotter than a prick to fix.

Oh, and my daughter just finished her "book about herself" that she is writting for kindergarden. she has to draw pictures.

And she is most happy when "not being yelled at." and right below that is a picture of me. beer belly and all.

Yes, I do rock that much.

The cat puked all over the floor. and the couch. and the floor some more...

and I suppose you could be asking yourself, 'self, how could Adam have failed at that? It was the cat that puked on stuff.' and the answer is suprisingly simple.

I could have just ate the cat last weekend. just throw it on the grill like a pig, and slow cook it to deliciousness.

So I fail.

I am a foremost subject expert in the field of failure, as you may know.

Just a quick sampler dish of failure for your taste-buds:

- MAZDA. Got drunk, forgot the mazda was running and passed out. This allowed the mazda to run overnight, overheating the compressor and fragging the seals. FAIL.

- VRSLOW. You name it, I broke it. What's that? Transmission? I don't believe in them. Replace warped rotors? No point. Until they rattle your front end so much that bolts let loose while you're drag racing and destroy a cv boot, sway bar end link, the tire, and some body molding.

- POWER CAV. Drove it over curbs, off road, and raced joe at the track (not on the track) at the NG. Auto tranys do not like neutral drops. Also ran with the sawdust only in coolant tank mod. Done.

- Buddy clubs. Enough said.

- Firewater. Also enough said.

- R-manage. Also also enough said.

- Women in general. No clue why or how, but pretty sure I'm F-ing this up immensely on a daily basis. I coined the phrase "I haven't had vah-jay-jay since vah-jay-jay had me." Remember, I'm not only the president of reborn-virgins-anonymous, I'm also a member.

Because, look on the bright side - it's not too late to eat the cat.

Last Monday, ATV decided to die while being ridden. Hasn't started since.

Last Friday, while towing boat to storage, trailer tire that has MAYBE 1000 miles on it explodes in a construction zone on Hwy 41. Dents fender, shreds paint off trailer frame.

Sunday, driving truck home, it shuts off as I turn onto my street. Push it the rest of the way home by myself, and don't yet know what's wrong. Has no fuel pressure from either pump, and YES, it does have gas in it...

Well, I'm still waiting, 8 weeks later, for my '99 VR-4 to finish getting some f&^$#@ing turbo gaskets and a 60k service done. Yes. 8 weeks. Thanks, Greddy. The car has been in the shop 28 times longer than I actually owned the car and drove it. Oh, and I'll probably pay well over 1,500 dollars in labor alone. If it wasn't for the 50 cent fuse that blew in it, I could have driven it to Milwaukee to have Jeff do it for about half that, and just as well.

If I remember correctly, I was on the exact oposite side of the power neon from you puking out the other side from firewater... Of course I was puking, so what I remember probably isn't right. I also vaguely remember hammersly busting @$$ out of the garage to move his rims so that we did not puke on them...

I hate sitting on the side of a highway or busy road with a messed up vehicle... I came acrossed a stranded 57 chevy that wouldn't start about two weekends ago causing a ruckus in traffic. I pulled off to the side to offer to help push the guy to a side street, and it was a bride and a groom heading from the chapel to the reception... She was not pleased.

At least my car didn't die on my wedding day.



Excellent. I can relate. making headers sucked nuggets. donkey nuggets. especially when I could have just bought headers and slapped them on in a weekend... or better yet, just have been happy with my car when it had DR500s and a blue emanage and drove PERFECT.

Don't worry, my daughter also included me in her "About Me" kindergarten book (I think it was subtitled "Let's Out Our Parents Together!", or something like that.

For the page, "My Dad _______.", I got a picture of me sleeping on the couch.

Could have picked fixing her bike, playing tag, tickling, pushing on the swing. I do all of that, and more. Thanks, Sweetheart!

All it really needed for perfection was a wife-beater, and maybe a speech bubble saying "BUUUUURP!". But hey, she was only a kindergartener, so job well done, anyway.

Although, being a stick figure, the physique was rather flattering.

And for some New, Improved, With 50% More Fail, fail, I'm currently replacing the rear main seal on the NA for the second time in a couple months. I achieved the largest oil leak I've ever seen on a vehicle with the first attempt. lol wut?

I did the clutch on the TT right after the NA, and after the NA debacle, I left the old seal in the TT, out of fear. Double fail, due to inaction! Aka, Deer-In-Headlights Fail. Mmmm, fail-alicious!

Eh - live and learn, right? I'm not giving up naps on the couch, though, so deal with it. Yeah I know, I can be a real hard-ass sometimes.

I would have liked to have slept with my own girlfriend during NG. But instead, my nice side invited the fucking refugees to stay with us for the entire week while he fixed his car and I carted his ass around to get parts. They just paid me yesterday for their share of the hotel...
