As a few of you have inquired, here's a quick update as to the let's see how long SJ will be around-game:
My blood tests came back very well; in fact, the best so far. So we

You sure those chest pains, high BP, headaches and fatigue are not from just owning a 3S? Seriously, I wish you the best, SJ. I had 170/110 BP last year when I went to the doctor and a one a day pill and a diet (no McDonalds) got me down to 118/120. I lucked out I guess. I bought a BP tester and check twice a day now. I feel much better now. I hope you make the events this year as I may actually show up this year. Take care and slow down. Barry

Thanks Barry, I'm hoping -- and praying. This sucks. Best, SJ

Well, I thought I was getting even worse and took Friday off. Could have stayed home even Thursday but toughed it out thinking I would improve. Finally called the primary physician with symptoms of racing heart, beating very heard, cough, light headiness, shortness of breath... all side effects but one. Surprise, took me off of it. I have a fine collection now... So, I guess good news that I wasn't getting worse on my own and that hopefully by tomorrow, when this stuff works through my system, I'll feel better. However, not good relative to BP lowering. Maybe I need to find a new Doctor... Frustrated... SJ

Richard Staudacher...One of the best cardiologists around. He got me in touch with the surgeon who did my procedure and he was only one of three in the country who did that surgery at the time.
Get well bud!

Get well bud! Wow, that's pretty impressive -- and let me just reiterate how we're really glad you're here SS. I think my Cardiologist may be okay -- Dr. Richard Leech. He's like the head of the board at WMH and ElmBrook (?) as well. He just happened to be on duty or in the ER that day, or I would have never got him. It's my internist "normal" Doctor I am questioning at this point. BUT, I'd be happy to check out "your" Richard as well -- is he local? Thanks, SJ

Quote: "BUT, I'd be happy to check out "your" Richard as well -- is he local?" Also works out of WMH and Elmbrook. I also met Dr. Leech with Dr. Staudacher in ICU at Waukesha. He seemed very good also. I believe they work out of the same office. Most likely both on staff for Pro Health Care. I'm sure your covered in the cardiology area. I was just recently given a bp monitor to wear to record bp throughout the day. Have you had to do that yet? It's a pain in the ass. I'm hoping I won't have to deal with that long. Keep your head up man, these guys can do wonders. Just think you'll be as old as me some day. That's when the rest of your body takes a dump on you.

That's good news, now I just need a good internist. No, no monitor, but they're eluding to it. Screw 'em. I'll be calling Leech direct until I find another regular Doctor. Hell, I wish I was in as a good shape as you now SS! Jack -- you know any good ones over here? Thanks men. SJ

Okay, to-day's festivities included these findings: EKG -- all good BP -- 132/82 -- that's not a miss-type -- lowest it's been in a over year, maybe two -- only thing I changed is I started taking Vitamin D... The chest and arm pain? They think I have a pinched nerve in my neck, took what felt like sixteen x-rays -- should know more about this soon. Also, my guess was right in that inflamed area around and pain with pacemaker probably due to my laptop I carry around -- will be switching the bag to the other shoulder. Basically, good news. Cleared to run at RA -- w00t baby! See him again next week. Now all I need is Spring and the winning PowerBall numbers Best, SJ
