I would like to intoduce myself my name is Jamie Frenzel. I live in Delavan WI. I am a big mitsubishi guy, mainly into eclipses and talons. (I just named my kid Talon) I would like to start by saying I dont own a 3000gt, a guy came up to me a few times and he liked that I worked on cars, well he said he had a 3000gt sl with a rod knock and he had a smashed vr4.(totalled behind repair) Well he wanted me to turn his sl into a vr4. I said ok, I am not promicing anything. Well I have the motor in and running now in its naturally asporated state. The turbos are bolted on, but I have the mas hooked up to the throttle body as if it was non turbo. So all is going good with this project. I did not make it awd that would be too much work. I am going to make it have a fmic insted of he side mounts. I will post pictures of the smashed vr4 for you guys, your not going to belive it. I also will be posting pics of the finsihed car when I am done with it. Just to worn you guys the owner has riced it out quite a bit. It has a body kit, stickers and 20" dub wheels with rubberband tires. I dont even know if this car will hook-up, with it being twin turbo fwd. The paint on this car will make you sick. he painted it with bass boat paint. It is red with black and chrome flakes. It is deffenitly different. Well thank you for your time, hope to meet some of you soon.

Here are 2 pictures of the wrecked vr4. From the looks of it the trany locked up at a high rate of speed and it was rolled a number of times. Check out the sweet lamo look on the roof.

The car was pretty much toast. the dash was even twisted and split down the cesnter. What parts are you looking for? The only body parts that were good were the doors and the guy took them off. Anything else I took, and posted in my fs ad. There are some things I am keeping personally. Like those brakes, they are going to look awsome and stop me pretty quick in my eclipse. The only parts that I can think of I need are the heared and o2 sensor housing. I am sorry if anyone needs a wierd rare part from this car. I took the shell to lakes area recycle, and got $40 for it. I thought that was pretty go considering, it didnt have the whole rear end , no trans, no motor, no hood most of the interior was thrown out (due to water damage) no bumper, and nothing on the radiator suport, actually the radiator suport was gone.
