That our site never turns into the "b*tchfest" that is 3SI. Is it me, or is it getting worse over there? I can't read more then 5 posts over there without seeing people fighting.

John, you should have been on 3Si back in 2000. It was sooooo muuuuch betteeeer. It has seriously gone downhill over the last 5 years. Cars became cheap and all these morons had the money to buy them. Now 3Si is filled with immature idiots and a few sensible old-timers. Its not a pretty combo.

I agree over the last 3 yrs it has gotten really bad. I think I checked the site once a week after they made the lounge members only. There wasn't any real information in any of the other sections so there was no reason to go there.

The organization has changed dramatically over the years. There was also a huge split when the group went from a list-based group to a pay membership-forum-based organization called 3Si. Many members have left. Some have sold their cars and moved on. Some formed or went to Team 3S, there is also an offshoot called 3S racers, and then US3S was formed. Because of this, some of our best long-term members are in essence, gone.

I am extremely dissapointed with the lack of direction right now, and the bashing on the forums -- and the lack of leadership stepping in to put an end to it.

No, I doubt we'll ever even come close to what's happening right now. We'll never be able to please everyone all the time, but I think we try damn hard and all know and accept that. It's our diversity that makes us a unique group of folks with a common passion. I also personally like the fact we never seem satisified, always trying to improve.

We are, in essence, no longer our own little corner of the asylum. Once we were simply an offshoot, but no more. Let's hope the other inmates get a handle on their meds -- and soon.

This is a blatant falicy. As we all know, DJAuggie could never drive an onion into the tens. low twelves possible at best.

The poor times would come with many excuses, such as weight, person the onion headers were bought from, tuning, holes in intercoolers, bad VCUs making AWD onions into FWD onions [which we all know are useless] and lack-si-dasical comitment from the rain to properly water said onions.

perhaps if Monet, or even our own G-Ell were to drive, ten seconds would be possible. however, then onion sause would be refered to as "stock" even when not.

DJA said his dad's onion scares him too much so he never drives it. 900 calories of detroit onion. His dads onion will do onion rings around your single turbo piece of crap. Maybe if you tune down your NOS (Nasty onion smell) in 3rd you'd stop unloading and run some 9's.
