Someone reminded me last night about an anniversary of mine. I had forgotten the day, but it was indeed two years ago yesterday I checked out of here -- twice. I believe the third would have been today. Much nicer place for those of you wondering. Needless to say, I've never been the same, but am still glad to be here. I want to thank Jesse who came out and visited me. It was a long painful week and it helped seeing his shining mug and bringing me lame movies to help pass the time. If you had told me I'd have new hardware and meds the rest of my life, I would have bet you on it -- and lost. Airport security is fun now as well. Maybe someday things will get better, but right now the stress is high and so is the BP, so back in I go next week. I was actually doing very well about March of last year, but I guess this conidtion can be aggrevated by stress -- which they never told me. Oh well. It's nice to be seen. Don't take it for granted. Forza. SJ

I just hate Doctors, and my last visit to my normal Doctor has kicked me back to my Cardiologist. I guess nothing is where in needs to be so as always, their first reaction is to mess with my meds which messes with everything. We'll know more next week. Right now, I'm just busy building the ark and collecting two of every kind of blonde, brunette and red head I can find. I was really just more amazed I forgot all about the date. That's it. The rest of this crap I guess I need to get used to. SJ

Oh geez.
Are you bringing up that time when you faked your death twice at work because you were too lazy to finish out an 8 hour day? Then continued milking the entire ordeal even after the paramedics arrived and dropped your butt off at the hospital merely so you could gaggle at the nurses for a few days, having them bath, wash, and feed you, all the while feinging your ticker was acting up... ??
What some people will do for attention...

JR Well you know how I am -- I can't let you get it all! So, strange things... We've been at the the Hospital with my daughters best friend from kindergarten. They apparentlty don this China project and then go eat at this chinese restuarant as a wrap up. Katie passed out after lunch and fell down the stairs. Guess which day? She can't see, they did a spinal tap and it's cloudy. If you need me, best you call me on my cell. We're heading right back over after work tonight. It's just killing me, I'm not how her parents are handling it at all. SJ

Sorry I've been so out-of-pocket lately. Here's an update: Last battery of tests this morning, then probably send her home. WTF? The spinal tap WMH perform leaked, and from the bruises it looked like me and Adam tried to do it. They had to take some of her blood and patch it. Then wait for that to heal. That did fix the nausea and dizziness. She still can't open her eyes. I even took her my darkest shades -- it still burns too much for her to open them. It

Haven't posted because the news has not been good. They eventually sent her home from Children's, said there was nothing they could do for her, perhaps it is a virius and she will improve. None of us had ever heard of a virus that could do this. Her parents were hanging tough but her father, a career Marine, with tears in his eyes was enough to make us all pray more. He was ready to put her in the car Saturday and drive her up to Mayo. I'd like to thank all of you that at least thought of her or prayed for her as this morning, she opened her eyes... I've never seen anything more powerful. On my end, they adjusted the timing back to OEM specs. If that doesn't help, we'll move on to other settings. Took two hours. So far, so good. Thanks, SJ
