Whaa??? Longwell is arguably one of the top 5 kickers in the league. I think he has the highest kicking percentage in team history. We're lucky to have him.
About the Vikings, I have a bad feeling about this weekend...
We are def lucky to have him. What other kicker out there went almost 2 full seasons without a miss from less than 40 yards? He's as close to automatic as you could get this year. Ok ok... the evidence is against me. I think he received that name from his "I can only kick it to the 15yd line" standard kickoff. On the other note, I would MUCH rather see a blowout. BEN

Who wants to come over to my place and watch the game this Sunday? I got the new TV hooked up.

This is true, it would have been nice for him to be able to improve that aspect of his game. I think we in Wisconsin got spoiled by watching John Hall clear the uprights at UW for those years. Sets the standard high.

Sets the standard high. Then again, John Hall couldnt make field goals in the pros to save his life. I'd take a short kickoff and accurate field goals over a very inconsistant field goal kicker with a long leg any day. Would have been nice to have both, but I'm happy with what we got. As soon as our guys learn how to tackle, those short kicks wont seem so bad.

Speaking of football, omg, did anyone see halftime last night of the orange bowl? Who was that chick that sang the last song? Holy shit, that was the worst crap I ever heard. and... she was booed LOUDLY at the end of her song. Rightfully so. Okay MN guys... it seems none of you believe the Vikings will win this weekend, so, since you're NOT backing your time with enthusiasm and pride, no gloating if you DO win, right? lol. Stand up and be a man Back your team! This game scares me. 3 wins in a row against a divisional opponent in the same year? I don't like the odds. However, it's my duty to be as irrational as possible and ridicule the "away" team under all circumstances and without reason, so therefore... my prediction. Packers 34, Viking 17.

I laughed my ass off when I heard the booing. She is so washed up. Ahh, I thought she looked familiar. Did you see that attempt at singing? I turned it on halfway through it and then couldn't turn the channel I was mesmorized at the sheer horror and stinkiness of her voice. I thought I was watching an American Idol audition - but worse. What was that moaning/groaning/yelling chorus thingy with the 4 grunts and fist pumping and umm, ? omg.

Yea. That was the leprachaun dance. I believe it's a variation of the dance the hobbits did in Lord of the Rings first movie. She must be a fan of the movies.

I think it was the same dance the midgets did around the mini-stonehenge in Spinal Tap. I hope the Vikings win, but the way they've been playing lately I just don't see it happening. They aren't playing like a full team and it just doesn't seem like the effort is there like it should be. Moss' walking off the field last week is a good indication of that - he's not really in the game. The way the defense has been, I don't think there's a whole lot of hope of containing the Packers. When they need a stop on 3rd down, they just don't get it. I'm not sure what all is wrong, but it pisses me off... There was potential, but they just aren't making it happen.

The last 15 times that 2 teams met 3 times and the same team won the first 2 games.... The same team won the 3rd time 10 out of 15 times. Then if you figure in how bad the Vikings choke during the second half of the season... I say it will most definitely be a Green Bay win. Packers 31 Vikings 13 Go Pack! I'll be at Greg's for the game, who else is coming?
