Let's alternate a few locations so peeps like me don't have to drive 2 hours every time. Milwaukee, Madison, and maybe Oshkosh? We could schedule it weekly and determine the location each week by a vote. If there is a lack of interest we can just post a cancellation notice for that week.
Feel free to bring a few friends or whatever. Bring your car or leave it at home.
I'd be in for 1-2 times a month on a weeknight.
Do Thursday nights sound good starting next week? I assume most of us have off work/school for Good Friday.
sign up below and list how many times a month you think you could make it.
1. Aaron A923KGT 1-2 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9.
Let us know if you have any other ideas!
If there is enough interest, I will start a dedicate thread in the events section.
Thanks Aaron

Quote: I assume most of us have off work/school for Good Friday. ??? I tend to forget things like this from year-to-year, but do people in the private sector really typically get Good Friday off? That sounds foreign to me. FWIW, I'm busy every Thursday night (dinner with g'parents and softball). But then again, I'm also busy every Wednesday night (band rehearsal). Probably pretty hard to accomodate everyone's schedules -- maybe alternate between Tuesdays and Thursdays or something.....

INCORRECT. 99% of peeps do not get good friday, bad friday, or ugly friday off for any reason from school or work.

How's next Tuesday the 13th look for everyone? It looks like you need to check the calendar again. Tuesday is the 10th. I'm on break next week so any day is good for me.

Tuesday's are R/C racing night for my son (he is currently leading the point series) but I can try and meet up with you guys for a bit. Generally Wed., Thurs. and Fridays are best for me.

jhammer - Does your son race at ABC? My son and I raced there years ago. We helped build the track in the basement. I have tons of r/c stuff laying around if needed. Sorry to hi-jack thread. If available I am interested in tuesday.

Hey folks: Don't let this one die because of my schedule. Feel free to go for it. For example, I see where Saxe's (for the seven listeners that actually attended the Rural Cruise last year, that's where we finished and had beers ) is hosting Classic Car nights starting in May on Thursday's starting at 6p. That could be an option to throw in there as well. I'll I'd suggest is that whereever you want to meet, make it somewhere easy, with a nice big secure parking lot. And for Gawd sakes don't follow Uncle Benny's and Joe's lead... I'll be there as often as I can. Just do it. Matty? Scott? Johnny? Fry? Bueller? Anyone? Anyone? If this is something you guys want to do, sound off here. If not, sound off here. SJ

The rollercoaster weather didn't help. Monday is supposed to be gorgeous ... anyone interested in meeting out somewhere Monday night? A decent bar somewhere in the Waukesha/Brookfield area, perhaps?

Why did this thread die? Because UMG? I'd like to meet up again, didn't really get a chance to check out everyone's car at UMG. For the summer I'm available pretty much any day of the week.
