I seldom drive my car to work at this job for many reasons, but when I do, it seems like I always have someone telling me what their husband uses on his '70 Charger or what kind of tire dressing they use that of course is better than what I use.
Monday I had a lady tell me her husband found this great spray wax, better than any paste he's ever used. I told her I was skeptical, as I've found paste and my friendly neighborhood orbital buffer were always the way to go. Well, she couldn't let it alone. Yesterday, she comes over and hands me a bag. "Here it is, he even used it on my car, it really adds a nice shine," she exclaims loudly for all to hear. I'm buried up to my eyeballs, quickly bring it out of the bag, see it's turtle wax and say, "Oh, okay, I'll check it out." But that wasn't enough -- she told me to take it home and try it -- heck, I could even have what was left in the bottle. OKAY, I'LL TRY IT.
I get it home, and after the kids baseball game, look at it closer...
