I have decided on Bridgestone S03 Pole Positions.
Tire racks price = $276 each onlinetires.com = $255 each (best price I've found so far)
Just wondering if anyone knew of any good places to check online, I am getting googled-out!

Weber tire (tire shop near me) can probably come close to that $255 price tag. Instead of paying for shipping, you'll have to drive out here + the cost of mounting, balancing, and new valve stem seals.

close to or beat? I have another month or so until the wheels get here, so I am just shopping to find the best price on the rubber. I'm going to have the place that did my last set do the mounting and balancing. Thanks for the info.

No, that weekend is my girl and I's anniversary, so I don't think she like that. I'll give them a call, thanks again. Thanks for the info on the DSM stuff too. I picked up a set of dsm sidemounts for $40 shipped and a set of 6 450cc injectors already cleaned w/new ring seals for $135 shipped. I got an SAFC 2 for $215 and a fuel pump hotwire kit. I just need to buy a wideband and put it all in now for the uppermidwest.

I don't know if I've maxed the stockers out, but I imagine I am close. Many people have used 450's to max the 9B's out (race gas) which is what I'm going to try to do this summer. I'll get a pump gas tune goinging with the new intercoolers, hotwired pump and bigger injectors, then go to the track, test that, then throw in some race gas.

Webber wanted $273 per tire.....
I don't know if I'm going to find them cheaper than $255/tire and $50 for shipping on all 4.
Thanks anyway greg

I just called. They said they'd sell them to me for $255 a tire. Helps being a repeat customer for 8 years.

Belive it or not (and I hesitated at first) I found that for Brigestone/Firestone, Tires Plus had the best prices. I went in and asked them to price match Tire Rack (and others) and they said there is probably no need cuz they get better prices on those brands cuz they are affiliated with Brigestone/Firestone. Just give them a call, you might be suprised. I know I was. here is my post on MN3s from last year when i was looking for tires: http://mn3s.zforcenetwork.com/viewtopic ... sc&start=0

well, thanks for exerting your influence over the tire selling masses greg. If they'll sell them for that price that would end up saving me $50 for shipping.
Thanks for the tip on tires plus, theres one right near where I work so I'll check that out too.
Just checked with tires plus and they'll do $266/tire ($255/tire plus $50 for shipping which is the deal I found online)
So they'll match that, I'll call back and see if I can get them to drop the $50 for shipping off and get back to the $255/tire that webber will do, that way I don't have to drive to madison.

Think of it this way, if you buy tires locally, you'll not pay shipping, get a local warranty, and get the tires mounted on those wheels for MUCH cheaper. so in the end, it's worth it to get them locally IMO.
