The clutch has been in for about 4 weeks now, I took Jeff's advice and broke it in right, i even broke it in longer than he said. Its already got about 1800 miles on it. The only other reason i could think of why it would start to slip would be because of resting my foot on the pedal, but i don't do that, in fact i've been watching myself all through the break in to make sure i haven't. So idk, but i'm pissed cause after this long it shouldn't be slipping. I just beat on it a little last night cause i got my intake installed, but i didn't do any launches, I only punched it after i was moving.
With the mods done to my car (downpipe, exhaust, intake, turbo timer), I don't think i would have enough power to break that clutch. I have the South Bendz TZ clutch, which from what I was told would be fine for those mods. I'm just really confused as to why it would already be slipping, any thouhts would be great. The biggest problem is money, cause i don't really have enough to get a new clutch right now. Maybe South Bendz can send me a new one or something, idk, this sucks.
Any thoughts would be great, Thx.
