I talked to the service department on the phone today and here's what they said: They can't (won't) go any lower on dyno time than $150/car for the standard 3 pulls. They are open saturdays from 9am to 3pm for those of us that are employed.
I wanted to see if anyone is interested in going with me. I am going no matter what...
I may try writing a letter to the management at the porsche exchange and see if I can get them to talk to the service boys and get us some sort of discount, but I'm not going to bother if no one else wants to come.
If you are interested please get back to me ASAP so I can schedule time for us and try to work on the price some more...

Yeah, one of my friends actually works at the Porsche Exchange and does dyno tests for people so I can probably talk to him and see if he can be of some help in setting up some runs at a better price if we can get some interest. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for the info matt. Have you hit that 12 second pass you were telling me was coming at the NG?
I'd like to do this one saturday in august if thats cool with everyone that's interested. It'll most likely be like the last one for scheduling/money reasons. I asked grandt to talk to his friend and see what he can do. I'll call the other chicago area dynos later today (2:30am just got done with work) and see what they are willing to do for us. I need to know which of you are coming just to come or actually want to dyno your car, and who if any wants time to tune...

No I haven't been back to the track yet, we'll see next Fri. If I have the money I'll dyno, but i may come down just to watch.

I just got off the phone with my buddy Chris at the Exchange. He said the more cars we can get, the better the price will be. He also wanted to know if any of you guys wanted to do a dyno tune or just a few pulls. He said it would definately be cheaper than $150/person, he's going to let me know ASAP. I'll keep you all posted...

Alright, thanks for checking into it. How's the 28th of august for everyone? Thats the last saturday next month, giving everyone time to save and plan the time off if need be.
Lets get a list started so I can find out how many people for sure are going to come and reserve the time and let grandt figure out what the cost will be...
1. unclebenny----------no tuning

Any chance you can move that date around? Unless it's early-late morning? Announcement about the Madison event to come within a week or so. On a side note... I'll probably do a pull or two, and maybe tuning with my AFCII as well. Jesse EDIT --- Joe... You might wanna contact your flatlander friends and see if any of those guys are interested in particpating for reduced costs.

Jessee: sure we can do it when ever, I just want to get it in before school starts again in september. I just figured I'd give everyone enough time to save and see if I could get the dyno reserved. I know that the cookout is in august too so I was trying to avoid that as well. I DO have a JOB now, and I work 4pm-2am mon-fri so its almost got to be a saturday as they are not open on sunday.
When does everyone want to go then? Let me know...
As far as those other dynos go:
Dynatech---------number didn't work
Fall-Line motorsports----------normally not open saturdays; would make an exception for a group from a car club, normal price $150/3 pulls but should talk to Mark(calling tomorrow when he's back) for a discount for a car club.
Axispowerracing----------is in St. Louis and a bit farther than I'd rather drive.
