Anyone want to chime in on what Oil Pressure gauge I should buy? From cheap to expensive - I'm open to anything. I'm wondering if it's worth having one with a nice big warning light too. Does anyone have one or know someone who has one?
I'd like to have an accurate oil gauge (since everyone says the stock ones suck and aren't accurate) along with Philip's racing oil pan which holds an extra 1.2 quarts of oil and maintains a better oil supply during left hand high g turns (pickup stays submerged). I figure they'd be good items to have on the track car.

I'd stay away from mechanical gauges if the thought of oil leaking into the cab bothers you. Otherwise, if you want cheep, VDO makes a cheep and reliable oil pressure gauge.
No warning light though. Although, what good is a warning light if it's in the stock gauge location? They're not in your line of sight. In a pillar it would stand out, but otherwise your probably not going to notice unless you happen to glance over at the gauge.
Dave has a VDO boost gauge in his car.

I used to have a chrome trim Autometer mech gauge without light in my '68 Mustang. It was plumbed up with steel brake line which can be a pain to do it you don't have the bending tools. It was part of a cheap cluster.
It worked well but was very simple.
An electric gauge might be more to your liking. It is easier to install and allows for more range in locations on the gauge.
