Is it better than before the mexicans took your shiz?
Hell yes. Turbo lag? WTF is that? Also never been able to break the tires free from a roll in 2nd gear before.

I need a set of Potenzas.
We were definately fighting more than 1 problem getting this thing running though.
#1: The loose power wire. This is why the motor would just randomly die. For the heck of it, I unplugged the MAF to see what would happen. The car would crank, spit, die. So, all that tinkering with rechecking/soldering wires took care of that.
#2: "Sounds like a boost leak" & very rough cruise. This was actually the motor trying despirately to suck air threw a bone dry K&N. I completely over looked that. Oiled the filter, motor breaths easier. Now the car would start, run, cruise fine, but still dies when you rev in neutral/put the car into neutral while cruising.
#3: Combination stock BOV releacing pressure too easily and removed discombobulator. Check out my post on MAF back wash in the 3si link above. Turns out, Justin had this exact same problem when he installed the ARC onto his car. A Greddy type-S mostly fixed his problem, but the discombobulator needs to be reinstalled.
#4: Boost leaks. I believe there are still a few boost leaks in the throttle body area. I got the car to idel great at 1k, but anything below that, the car won't idel at a steady RPM (we're talking about a variance of 400 rpms which is not normal). The issue is minor and can wait till after the gathering.
So, the trip to Jesses during the worst storm of the year and having a deer run into the side of the wagon wasn't for nothing afterall...
