I don't suppose anyone that has some experience with doing these would like to help when I do mine? I am replacing the belts, timing belt tensioner, crank pulley, water pump, and thermostat. If anyone is crazy and likes to work on 3's, let me know. Eric unclebenny4140@yahoo.com

Sure, I'd be happy to show you how it's done. I've done about 4 of them now, both DOHC NA and turbo.
I don't have a place we can do this though, nor do I have an air compressor to get that stubborn crank bolt off.

Just let me know whats gong on. if i dont have to work, i'll help you out. P.S. there is an easy wy to break free that stubborn crank bolt. its getting it back to 120psi that is the problem without air tools.

yeah, wedge the wrench on the frame and crank her over to break her loose. I've got a 3 car garage, compressor, all parts and tools that will be needed....along with a fridge full of beer and pizza.

Joe, how is next weekend for you? Can you get off of work for a day? The sooner the better. I am sitting on 64k and would like to get this done to to ensure the engine survives to see the new turbos this summer. G-Ell, does next saturday work for you? I am talking about the weekend of april 23rd. Let me know, Eric

Next weekend (23rd) I plan on getting my own car back on the road. This weekend would work though if you're not going to Speed Seekers though.

I wasn't going to go to speed seekers, or if I do, only for sunday. I have a bachelor party to go to on saturday though... I don't know if there's any chance of doing it friday.
Let me know 262-617-9938

Thanks for all the help greg. Finally this tune up is complete and I must say I do not think I could have done it with out greg's expertise.
