That is just a bit too much for me. Two hour drive? lol. And with the snow still out with so much pile of salt. Nah. I'll have to do it another "ghetto way" probably tie it to the roof of my beater. And hope that it holds. At least I think it should. lol. You said that one side of the hood, where the latch, is bolted on is broken or something right? I can't remember clearly. Been a while.

oh...yeah, no, it latches just fine...the guy who put my front mount in for me after i gave up decided he would be a fine friend and throw on my 3sx low-pressure shocks...ended up overtightening the stud(?) and made a big hole where the shock should mount up...
oh, yeah, so i have pair of $100 low weight hood shocks that i'm not gonna use (my paint guy said not even to bother with them and i agreed) if anyone is interested in those...ill try to round up all the parts...

LOL. That sucks. I don't plan on running any hood shocks. So that's all good then. I'll probably come by during my spring break to pick up the hood. Starts on the 21ts until the end of march.
Are you going to have any plans at all during that time?

nothing set in stone...im sure ill have plenty of ample time to help...remember, i do still have the box and i think some corner protectors, so it'll still look ghetto, but the hood should be safe lol

Thats fine. As long as It not just sitting in a plain empty box. I don't think there is going to be any problem with it. I don't take the highway anyway. Just the country route. So that should be a bit safer. Trying to see if I can pick it up anytime earlier.

He didn't say anything. This is a different person that's doing my wheels. lol. Not the same one in the start of this thread. He said after he's done, I can give him my tires to mount on and all. So I'm assuming he know what he's doing. He does have a lot of years doing this. So yeah.

so I'm suppose to get my rims back tomorrow. Can't wait. But doesn't seem like the tires I got for it will fit. They seem to be too wide. This is going to be a pain. I'll be rolling in the 16's until I can find another set of tires. shoooooooooot!!.....

Took a look at the rims today. They don't looks as bad as I thought. They have some sort of texture to them. Looks flashy but nice. lol. I'll get pictures up when I can. One rim still needs to be done. Due to the chrome rotting. Can't wait to put them on my car. it's been on jackstand for so long! lol.
