OK so I have 2 TT stealths. I have done a lot of work on both but still can't seem to get a grasp on the boost/vaccuum line mess. My 2nd gen has a vac reduction and an EBC. Right now it is running wastegate pressure. When I got it the EBC wasn't getting any boost readings. I ran a new hose directly from the intake manifold to the boost controller... Now it sees vaccuum&boost but settings make no difference. The 1st gen is all stock and was missing the boost controller when I got it. I picked up a stock one and can't seem to find both hoses that are supposed to go to it? WTF? Both should be a fairly easy fix for somebody with experience. If that man can pressure test that would be great too! I also have tons of stock parts for sale that could be in the mix as well. Plenty of liquor on tap I haven't met any local 3s enthusiasts. Lets get it on!

Do you have an air compressor?
Otherwise if you want to stop by, I have an air compressor and a plug for the stock air intake to do a pressure test in my garage. and we should be able to get your vacuum lines in the right order.
Otherwise I'll have to work out some time to stop by when I'm in your neighborhood.

I do have an air compressor...
Are you in green bay? If you are it would be difficult to get both cars there.
Thanks!

I am infact in Green Bay.
I can grab the tool and take a road trip some night.
When is good for you?
Tuesdays and Thursdays are not good unless you want to do it later. I have to pick up my midget from daycare.

I bought the rob beck one made out of aluminum for 40 bucks. at the time it was the best tool in my tool box. Now I no longer have a stock intake, and my favorite tool is my 5 pound metal sledgehammer. If they still even sell the rob beck ones, I highly recomend it. it's pretty much the bomb.

My charming bride must wait around the house on Friday for the cable guy to show up... so that would make the most sense for me to go to manitowoc. (Maybe she will set up the video camera? Pr0n for me when I get home!) I will grab my pressure tester and manual. Is there any other tools I will need? Or do you have the basics? Also, do you have extra vacuum line? What time works for you on friday? I have to work until 4 pm, then probably and hour to home and get changed, then 45 minutes or so to manitowoc... that puts me there around 5:45 or 6ish... Or I could head straight there from work, which would put me there around 5 pm, and probably works better for me. not as much backtracking. let me know. I will probably also need to know where you live in manitowoc or I will waste alot of time driving in circles. woot woot.

I am free all day friday. You pick what works best for you. I should have all the tools and vaccuum lines we need.
Btw- your help is greatly appreciated.

Got the Address.
I will leave straight from work and head over on Friday. That puts me there about 4:40 to 4:50 I believe. (If I get out of work on time.)

Just and FYI On the pressure tester. The Rob Beck one seems to be no longer made. I have done some seaching and came up empty handed. BUT !!!! I think 3sx sells one. Also online is a instructional way to make your own. I think that is at the Stealh316 site. Tim
