Well that doesn't really help...
Can someone honestly really help me... Like a list of things i will actually need.
Tayvis, Tayvis, Tayvis. Listen. You're trying to do something is extremely custom, and not very often done. People with a lot of experience have slaved over this idea. There is no "here's what you need, and this is what you do" checklist or step-by-step process. It will all depend very much on the engine you use, the transmission you use, which rear end you use, etc.
I gave you the name of someone that has done this before. The best thing to do is do the research for yourself, as there are a LOT of decisions you will have to make before you even start doing this.
This is not some minor fabrication. You be spending a lot of time, money, blood, sweat and tears doing this. Prepare to take an entire year if you're doing it casually and on a budget. If not on a budget? Take it to maddog down in Chicago, as he has done some RWD conversion stuff with his own car. Jeff down in Milwaukee would probably also do it for you if you have no budget.
If you're on a budget? Prepare to spend months sourcing cheap, used parts, getting everything welded in preparation just to mount everything. Prepare to get things custom fabricated and custom machined. Prepare for the headache of a lifetime. Ask yourself... is it worth it? There are a LOT of RWD cars out there that have great looks and power and are affordable. One of the appeals of the 3000GT is that it is an all wheel drive, twin turbo platform. If it wasn't for that, I would have gotten something else, and so should you.
There's my dollar and fifteen cents.
