My friend used to be in charge of this sale in Green Bay. He got me a few computers a couple of years ago. I have a palm to do my logging but I know some people like a laptop. These are older computers but should run the MMCD software alright. Just thought I would let you know if your looking for a cheap computer for logging or anything else.

No affiliation. My friend used to run this as a fund raiser for one of the schools groups. It did so good the first year now every teacher wants to do it. Basically after so many years the school district unloads their old computers. When my friend was running it he was able to pull a couple of nicer computers for me. These are older computers but for the price they are pretty good for running a few programs. I just thought if someone likes a computer for logging instead of a palm then its probably a good deal.
Its a first come first serve deal so if you interested you need to be there early.

P.S. I used the computers I got to make a MAME machine. Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. A free program on the internet and then you download the ROM memory for the games you want. I have about 200 of the old classic games running, pacman, ms pac, dig dug, etc....on my that computer.

Can you pick up 2 laptops for me and I pay you back at the UMG? I'm looking for 2 small laptops (easy to carry in the car) with a serial port and CD drive (doesn't need to be a writer).

I live 100 miles away from Green Bay and no plans to be there that weekend. Maybe Adam or someone in GB can check them out for you. It is a first come first serve so the person would have to get there early and wait in line until they open the doors. I would pick them up for you if I lived closer.
